There Is No Us drop Halloween single ‘Fragments’ with 8mm

There Is No Us
Los Angeles-based industrial punk/metal act There Is No Us have released “Fragments” via Cleopatra Records, marking their first new music since the self-titled 2024 debut. The track features 8mm, the duo of vocalist Juliette Beavan and producer Sean Beavan (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, A Perfect Circle).
“Fragments” arrives with an official lyric video and a digital single. “We’ve been working with Sean for many years now…so working with him and Juliette on a track seemed like a natural fit,” says vocalist Jim Louvau. He adds: “This song also has some elements that are a little bit out of our typical wheelhouse…a bit of a trip hop vibe that is seductive and almost inviting thanks to Juliette’s voice, before we bring our signature brand of aggression.”

The band plays a headline set at Hollywood’s Bar Sinister today, Saturday, November 1, 2025.
About There Is No Us
There Is No Us formed in 2015 in Phoenix, Arizona around vocalist Jim Louvau and multi-instrumentalist Andy Gerold. The duo met during their school years.
The group’s first release was the six-track EP “Farewell to Humanity” (2015). It appeared digitally and as a very limited CD run, with tracks such as “In Violence We Trust”. A second EP, “Generation of Failure,” followed on November 10, 2018 (digital).
From 2023, the band ramped up single activity in the lead-up to a full-length, issuing “Fame Whore” (with an official video), “GET FK’D,” “Lunatic,” and covers including “Killing in the Name” (Rage Against the Machine) and “Mein Teil” (Rammstein) – the latter recorded with rapper Original God for Cleopatra’s “A Tribute to Rammstein” compilation.
Their self-titled debut album “There Is No Us” was released via Cleopatra Records on August 16, 2024 (vinyl/digital) with the CD confirmed for November 1, 2024. The set was mixed by Sean Beavan and includes the 2023 singles alongside new material.
Line-ups around the 2023 single period featured Jared Bakin (guitar), Eddie Lopez (bass) and live/session drummer Elias Mallin, while Louvau and Gerold remain the creative core credited across recordings.
In 2025, There Is No Us issued the Halloween single “Fragments” featuring 8mm (Juliette and Sean Beavan) via Cleopatra, closing a year of limited new material following the album cycle and continuing the band’s collaboration with Beavan.
