TikTok is the go-to platform for finding new hacks, and you can even find hundreds of sex tips on the platform to improve your intimate time in the bedroom! From spicing up foreplay to achieving a coregasm, sex hacks are going viral gaining millions of views! But which ones actually work?

With the hashtag #sexadvice gaining over 1.2 million views on TikTok, it is no surprise that sex hacks are going viral on TikTok. With many myths and tips circulating, Dr. Janet Brito AASECT-certified sex therapist & supervisor at Lovehoney has revealed which sex hacks are the best:

Stomach Sex Hack – 40 million+ views

Sex advice TikToker Nurse Ria recently posted a TikTok claiming that pressing down on a woman’s stomach during sex can help stimulate the G-spot. But how does this work?

Dr. Janet comments:

‘The stomach sex hack may work for some, but the most important thing is to experiment, as some folks may experience more sensation around other areas of the pelvis. Trying new moves to create pleasurable sensations is always a good idea, with consent of course.’

Sex Pillow Hack – 20 million+ views:

This hack involves putting a pillow under the woman’s pelvis in order to increase pleasure, the position allows the pelvis to be tilted up and therefore allows more access to the G-spot.

Dr. Janet comments:

‘The sex pillow hack allows for an anterior pelvic tilt, or for the pelvis to angle upwards, making penetrative sex more comfortable, easier to experiment with various angles, and allowing for deeper penetration.’

Masturbation Technique – 13.8 million views:

In this TikTok, the user explains self-gratification should be done by following a similar technique to gently rubbing the yolk of an egg in circular motions. The user goes on to explain that similar to a yolk breaking, you may have pushed too hard and should apply this gentle technique for masturbation!

Dr. Janet comments:

‘This masturbation technique is a helpful suggestion for both internal and external stimulation. Most importantly, it is best to obtain consent first and ask the receiver how they want to be stimulated. Some folks may prefer a less gentle approach and like more rough digital penetration. The suggestion on maintaining nail hygiene, including filing the fingernails and washing the hands is key.’

4 Minute Foreplay – 5.9 million views:

This next TikTok tip suggests setting a 4-minute timer where you take turns with your partner and have 4 minutes each to spice up foreplay and please each other.

Dr. Janet comments:

‘4-min foreplay works with consent and for those couples who are comfortable with adventure. Novelty helps to spice things up in the bedroom and to rediscover each other.’

Coregasm – 1.5 million views:

A coregasm is the possibility of experiencing an orgasm while exercising your abs. The hack has gone viral on TikTok and the hashtag #coregasm has received over 1.6 million views.

Dr. Janet comments:

‘Coregasms work for non-sexual orgasms due to an individual’s anatomy and physiology, headspace at the time of the exercise, and repetitive motion of the exercise. They are not necessarily linked to erotic content, but more associated to repetitive body movements.’

Tantric Sex – 1.7 million views:

The hashtag ‘#tantric’ has 21.6 million views and this particular TikTok has 1.7 million views. In the TikTok video, the user explains tantric sex is a form of sexual meditation in which partners are encouraged to explore their deepest sensations during sex.

Dr. Jannet comments:

‘Tantric sex may help folx who are anxious about sexual performance to move away from thinking about sex to being in their bodies. By being curious about one’s body’s sensations, and practicing a nonjudgemental stance, tantric sex sex helps folk to reframe sex from a performative activity to a pleasure based one.’
