Solve Et Coagula“, the second EP by European witch house project nøwhere, is out now as a self-released digital title. The EP presents five tracks – “Asylum,” “Solve Et Coagula,” “Djevel,” “Insanity,” and “Misantropisk Hekseri” – rooted in witch house, darkwave and electronica. Compared with the earlier “Final Descent,” which balanced four tracks between gloom and more open melodic passages, the new EP focuses on slower tempos and a thicker distortion.

nøwhere explains the main idea behind the EP like this: “It lies in its title which literally means ‘dissolve and coagulate’. This concept, known in alchemy, describes a process of breaking down materials to their essence and recombining them into something higher. Thus, metaphorically, Solve Et Coagula symbolizes personal transformation through deconstruction, introspection, and reintegration.”

The EP also includes the track “Insanity,” already released as a standalone single on October 31, 2025 to coincide with Samhain.

About nøwhere

nøwhere is a one-person independent electronic music project. The witch house project launched in 2025 with the single “Final Descent,” issued on July 21, 2025 as a two-minute electronic track. This was followed by the four-track EP “Final Descent” on October 10, 2025 next to several standalone digital singles such as “Nostalgia,” “Heksedans” and “Insanity”.

“Solve Et Coagula” marks the project’s second EP and a move into darker, more distorted sound design.
