Data H – Silence Between Errors (Digital Album – Collippo Robots)
Data H is a Portuguese solo project that has released a debut album featuring ten tracks.
Aside from a few sparse spoken samples, the album is entirely instrumental. However, this format never feels limiting, as the music unfolds as a dynamic Electronic composition where multiple influences constantly intersect. Within these tracks, you can recognize shades of EBM, IDM, Techno, Ambient, and even touches of D’n’B. At times, the whole thing feels a bit anarchic, underpinned by Industrial undertones, yet it remains a fascinating listen thanks to its well-developed structures and sonic richness. It could easily serve as a film Soundtrack, but it’s equally music you can dance to. Perhaps it would be interesting to hear more vocal or spoken elements in future releases.
Overall, this is a highly accomplished debut filled with sonic gems — a name to remember, in my opinion! (Rating:8).
