Alaska’s goth rock duo Cliff and Ivy release “Angels Eyes: Singles”, a two-track digital EP featuring “Lockdown” and “The Healer”. The set appears via the duo’s imprint House of Extreme Darkness and serves as a preview to their forthcoming full-length “Angels Eyes”.

Below are the videos for the two tracks.

About Cliff and Ivy

The project consists of the Anchorage, Alaska duo of Cliff Livingston and Ivy Silence. Originally from New Jersey, they began collaborating in the 1980s, moved to Anchorage in 1993, and formed the industrial project Parallax1 before starting to perform as Cliff and Ivy in 2011.

They run the imprint House of Extreme Darkness and frequently work with producer Paul Roessler (Kitten Robot Studio, Los Angeles).

Their early full-length “CXI 111” (2016) documents their Los Angeles/Anchorage recording workflow (Kitten Robot / House of Extreme Darkness); later releases include “Spirit Room” (2017), the four-track EP “Bring Us The Night” (2021), singles “Die Tonight” (2023) and “We Ignite” (2023), and the album “Sinister Stars” (2024, first vinyl pressing).

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
