Archive, the South London collective formed in 1994, will release their 13th studio album “Glass Minds” via their own Dangervisit label (through [PIAS]) on Friday 27 February 2026. The band have also shared the first single, “Look At Us”, alongside an official video.

“‘Look At Us’ is quite simply a banger! With ominous lyrics, which I interpret as a reflection on the truly distorted world we live in, I think it’s one of our best singles to date,” says Darius Keeler. Director Maxim Kelly adds: “The video is a Southern Gothic piece designed to look as authentic as possible through black and white documentary-style cinematography… creating a meta-commentary on deception where the medium literally becomes the message.”

Produced by Archive with long-time collaborator Jérôme Devoise, “Glass Minds” was recorded at Metway Studios (Brighton) and Angel Studios (London), and mixed at Studio DES (Paris). Artwork comes from Saatchi Gallery-collected artist Alaric Hammond. Formats confirmed: CD, LP and digital.

Keeler said the record began with “Patterns,” whose “space and minimalistic power… reminded us of our debut ‘Londinium’—heavy rhythm with a melancholy that penetrates the soul.” He also cites Elgar’s “Nimrod” as an influence on the album’s brass textures.

“Glass Minds” follows the 2022 triple-album set “Call to Arms & Angels”, after which Archive headlined their biggest shows to date.

About Archive

Archive formed in Croydon, South London, in 1994 when Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths teamed with vocalist Roya Arab and rapper Rosko John.

The debut, “Londinium”, arrived on Island Records in 1996, blending trip-hop and orchestral textures. After line-up changes, the band issued “Take My Head” (1999, Independiente). Through the 2000s they expanded into progressive/electronic rock with “You All Look the Same to Me” (2002), “Noise” (2004, East West), “Lights” (2006) and the “Controlling Crowds” cycle (2009).

In the 2010s they continued with “With Us Until You’re Dead” (2012), the film-linked “Axiom” (2014), “Restriction” (2015), and “The False Foundation” (2016). The collective established the Dangervisit label for later releases, including “Versions” (2020) and “Call to Arms & Angels” (2022).

Vocalist Lisa Mottram joined during the “Call to Arms & Angels” era. The current live/recording collective as presented for “Glass Minds” includes Darius Keeler (piano/keyboards), Danny Griffiths (keyboards), Dave Pen (vocals/guitar), Pollard Berrier (vocals/guitar), Lisa Mottram (vocals) and Jimmy Collins (vocals).
