Emmobiz Records will mark the 18th Elektrisch Festival in Zwickau with two separate 10″ vinyl releases: “V.A. 18. Elektrisch Festival – EBM Edition” and “V.A. 18. Elektrisch Festival Synth Pop Edition“, both scheduled for 27 February 2026. The festival itself runs across 27–28 February 2026 at Club Seilerstrasse, with a synth pop night on the first day and an EBM/electro night on the second as we reported before.

The EBM-themed sampler focuses on Calva Y Nada’s first new studio track since 1998, alongside contributions from Tyske Ludder, Prager Handgriff and The Psychic Force. The synth pop edition documents the opening night with tracks from Solitary Experiments, Second Decay, Blind Passenger and KY, plus bonus cuts from Chinese Detectives, Fairlight Children and Echo Image.

V.A. “18. Elektrisch Festival – EBM Edition” 10″

The “V.A. 18. Elektrisch Festival – EBM Edition” 10″ is positioned as the EBM/electro companion to the 28 February 2026 festival night. The release includes the first new Calva Y Nada studio track in 28 years, titled “La Pura Mierda”, which was premiered live at Elektrisch Festival 2024 and previously issued only as a live recording on the album “live@clubseilerstrasse”.

The edition appears on green vinyl, limited to 222 copies, available for pre-order directly from the label.

The Tyske Ludder track is a cover of Manowar’s “Warriors of the World”, which had previously only been available in digital form. TC75 (Tino Claus) contributes one of the bonus remixes.

V.A. “18. Elektrisch Festival Synth Pop Edition” 10″

The “V.A. 18. Elektrisch Festival Synth Pop Edition” 10″ documents the synth pop opening night on 27 February 2026. It is a 10″ compilation for the 18. Elektrisch Festival Synth Pop Edition featuring a new version of Solitary Experiments’ “Land of Tomorrow” and tracks by Second Decay, Blind Passenger and KY, plus three exclusive bonus versions.

The edition appears on yellow vinyl and is available for pre-order directly from the label.

Elektrisch Festival is an annual event held at Club SeilerstraĂźe in Zwickau, Germany, dedicated to electronic body music (EBM), industrial, and dark electro genres. Organized by Emmobiz Records, the festival has become a staple in the electronic music scene, known for its exclusive performances and thematic editions.

The 16th edition, held on October 19, 2024, was themed as the “Exclusive 90’s Edition” and featured a headline performance by Calva Y Nada, marking their return to the stage after a 25-year hiatus. The event also included performances by Digital Factor, celebrating their 30th anniversary with a special release, and Accessory, who also marked three decades of music.

Earlier editions have featured acts such as Leaether Strip, Tyske Ludder, and Neotek.
