Curve's Dean Garcia goes for SPC ECOPosted on 09/04/09
Curve's Dean Garcia has launched yet another project: SPC ECO (pronounced 'Space Echo'). The project will have a first album, "3-D", out on Collide's Noiseplus label on April 21st. For this project Garcia is joined by Dean's daughter Rose Berlin on vocals and Joey Levinson on guitar. Noiseplus is the label of Statik and Karin from Collide who already collaborated with Garcia for The Secret Meeting project.
Curve were an English music group formed in 1990 chiefly around the collaboration of singer/songwriter Toni Halliday and bassist/guitarist/programmer Dean Garcia. Curve ceased activities in 2005 not before releasing the 2-CD retrospective "The Way of Curve" which summarised the group's output. While Dean Garcia is currently composing for, performing with, and producing the bands SPC ECO and The Chrono Logic, Toni Halliday released two new songs from her new band Chatelaine on Myspace. Halliday is currently completing the project's 2009 release.
Here are the videos for the SPC ECO tracks "Teling you" and "For All Time" (live).
