Ghostbells is a new Electro project joining the Out Of Line roster. Jessica Perry and Jim Finley released several singles earlier this year, and this EP brings together three of those tracks.

The songs fall within the broader spectrum of Electro-Pop, while additional influences remain clearly audible, such as EBM elements and a more floating, Pop-oriented atmosphere in the closing track. The sensual female vocals are striking and perfectly complement Ghostbells’ sound.

Three tracks are not enough to form a definitive judgment, but Ghostbells’ brand of ‘power Pop’ already suggests a project well worth keeping an eye on. (Rating:7).

US-based darkwave/EBM duo Ghostbells have signed to Berlin label Out Of Line Music for the release of their debut single “Darkness Saves“.

The duo describe the track as “a sonic descent into shadows, pairing icy synths, pulsing basslines, and reverb-heavy guitars with brooding melodies.” And the band adds: “‘Darkness Saves’ is a descent into the arms of a ghost – an alluring spirit who lures you deeper with every breath, every glance. It’s about surrendering to her presence, even as the world fades around you, and finding strange salvation in the shadows she casts.”

Vocalist Jessica Perry explained her creative method as follows: “I hear the songs for the first time in the moment I’m tracking them, so my reaction is completely visceral. The track speaks to me, and I begin lyrically and melodically building a world around it. Every song is its own emotional landscape.”

Ghostbells performed live for the first time this year at Castle Party Festival in Bolków, Poland, one of Europe’s leading gothic and alternative events. Further live appearances are planned for 2026.
