Error Fate, the solo project of Brazilian musician Anastase Kyriakos, has self-released its debut album 10 GOTO 10 on Bandcamp on 8 September 2026 as a digital download, mixing dark electro and EBM.

“10 GOTO 10” runs ten tracks: “Lambs,” “M.A.R.K. 13,” “Mommy,” “Wake Up,” “Where We Are,” “SHH!,” “Make Them Fear,” “Control,” “Count Zero” and “No News.” Kyriakos handled every stage of the record himself, from songwriting and production to recording and mixing. Bandcamp credits list him as the album’s sole musician and vocalist, with “lyrics and voices” drawn from Error Fate’s own writing “and whatever happened to be quoted or sampled,” and with Kyriakos also responsible for the artwork and design.

Kyriakos takes the album’s title from a line of BASIC code, “10 GOTO 10,” which creates an infinite loop. He has described the record as a reflection on repeating patterns in society and technology, built around that image of a loop that never resolves.

Error Fate is one of several outlets Kyriakos uses for his music, alongside Useless/You, Deletum and the darkwave project AL, each pointed at a different musical direction.

About Error Fate

Anastase Kyriakos founded Error Fate in 2012 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, working independently and releasing tracks only sporadically in the years that followed. Side-Line profiled the project in January 2017, featuring the dark electro track “Mark 13” on the “Face The Beat: Session 4” compilation; a reworked version of that track, retitled “M.A.R.K. 13,” appears as the second song on “10 GOTO 10.” Kyriakos also records as AL, a project Side-Line covered separately with the track “Litany” in 2019 and the video for “Void” in 2022, as well as under the names Useless/You and Deletum. “10 GOTO 10” is Error Fate’s first full-length release, arriving fourteen years after Kyriakos started the project.

Background/Info: Berliner trio Any Second strike back with a new EP as a teaser to their second official album. The work features two original songs plus three remixes.

Content: Any Second moves on mixing pure EBM together with Dark-Electronics. The harsh vocals in English and German accentuate rage hanging over the work. Next to both new cuts we get remixes of other songs taken from the upcoming album. Suicide Commando, Chains Of Agony and Error State have been asked to do the job.

+ + + : Any Second strikes back with a strong teaser to their new album. The songs have been well-crafted resulting in a perfect sonic osmosis of EBM and Dark-Electro. The sound might appeal for lovers of Tyske Ludder. Both new, original, songs are worthy of examination while I highly recommend the remix of “Dreamer” by Error Fate -this project was featured on one of the “Face The Beat”-samplers. I prefer “Teufelskreis” to the title song.

– – – : I’m missing power in the remixes and expected a bit more out of the Suicide Commando-remix which however remains a big name.

Conclusion: This is a powerful teaser to the upcoming album; great Dark-Body-Music made in Germany.

About Any Second

Any Second is a Berlin-based EBM and dark-electro project founded in 2009 under a different line-up. Jan Kluge, a founding member, is now joined by Oliver Senger and Thomas Beschoner. The band released “Dein Schicksal” as a self-released debut in 2012 and the double-disc “Sünde: Mensch” through Out Of Line in 2018, before signing to Infacted Recordings. The label first issued the “Scalpel” EP, a teaser featuring two original songs and three remixes, ahead of the band’s third album “Enemies”, released in December 2022.

The Brazilian darkwave act AL (Anastase Kyriakos and Luciana Maria Sanches) is releasing a video for the song “Void”, which is included in our most recent free download compilation “Face The Beat: Session 7”. First recorded in 2012, in São Paulo, the video for “Void” was conceived for a song by Error Fate, but not finished at the time. Ten years later, the track was updated and edited to become the AL track “Void”.

Says the band: “That search for the essence and many other elements of the AL sound are there: the anger, the intensity, the loneliness, the dreamlike (or nightmarish) atmosphere. And most importantly, the inexhaustible search for meaning in some thing, any thing, outside or within oneself — the intention to fill the void of everyday life, even knowing how counterproductive this is in the face of human inability to control one’s own feelings. The repetition is there. The paralysis is there. The resignation is there. But also the hatred that propels, the desire to change some thing, any thing.”

The video for “Void” was directed by Anastase Kyriakos, the creator of the melodies behind the AL sound.

The 5th track on our free (or pay-what-you-want to support our charity work) download compilation “Face The Beat: Session 5” is by AL, a project by the Brazilian São Paulo based duo Luciana Maria Sanches and Anastase Kyriakos. The song is also the first track the duo ever recorded, so we have a true exclusivity here.

The band didn’t exactly show up out of the blue for us, as one member, Anastase, also participated under the Error Fate flag on “Face The Beat: Session 4”. Error Fate started in 2012 mixing darkwave, EBM, industrial, post-punk and gothic rock. AL is somewhat different. In fact this first AL track kinda reminded us of a young Anne Clark mixed with some Wumpscut synths and some post-punk. A nice mix that definitely asks for more.

AL also launched a Facebook page, so make sure to follow them, as we are pretty sure they’ll picked up by a label anytime soon!

Founded in 2012 by Anastase Kyriakos this project is based in Sao Paulo and has until now only sporadically released tracks.
