The Atlanta-based witch house, synth punk act Suffer Ring have a new album out, “Book of Miracles” via Re:Mission Entertainment.

Behind Suffer Ring we find the producers Kyle McCanna (Dead Fe†us) and Corey Davenport (Cairn Elan). “Book of Miracles” is the 4th full-length album for the band following 2021’s “Hauntology”, 2020’s “Reverentia” and 2018’s “Wishing Well”.

The album is out now on all major digital platforms and as a limited edition CD, including 3 previously released digital only singles, and their cover of “Not In Love” by Crystal Castles/ Platinum Blonde as bonus tracks.

About the album the band says this: “In the early 2000’s an illuminated manuscript called the Book of Miracles detailing portents of doom from various periods of history ranging from The Old Testament to the 16th century was discovered in Augsburg, Germany. It stands as a record of people’s fear of powers greater than themselves throughout history, whether they be forces of nature or God’s punishment. Our 4th album is a Book of Miracles for today. In the wake of dead gods and demystified forces of nature, the powers with apocalyptic potential are more mundane and more horrifying than anything god could dream of. Bitter, resentful, gun toting losers, proxy wars, opioids, poverty, genocide, and nuclear weapons…”

Oklahoma City based fine darkwave label Re:Mission Entertainment has released a name-your-price label compilation with all proceeds from this release going back into the label to fund future releases.

Out via the Oklahoma City based label Re:Mission Entertainment is the new Suffer Ring track “Vermillion Barrels”. According to the dark pop band this is their most bass heavy ethereal song to date. Musically the track fuses trap percussion of witch house with melodic refrains.

Suffer Ring is a Portland, Oregon based electronic duo, formed by producers Dead Fe†us (Kyle Mac) and Cairn Elan (Corey Davenport). The duo has released 3 albums to date, the self-released “Wishing Well” (2018) and the two Re:Mission Entertainment released albums “Reverentia” (2020) and “Hauntology” (2021).

Out now via the fine Re:Mission Entertainment label is the brand new Dedalos release “Slow Death”. Described as a mix between wave and witch house, “Slow Death” symbolizes the standstill of life, which ends in the loss of being.

The 12-track strong album begins with a collaboration track with +d33b+ with other tracks featuring Suffer Ring and Greywolf.

Dedalos is a musician from Germany who started started recording material in 2017. In year 2020 he released one EP “Lenity” and three (!) albums: “Behaviour”, “Love” and “Mantra”. It was followed by the EP “Adrenaline” in 2021 on Re:Mission Entertainment. After that he started working on “Slow Death” which is out now and is the first album from a new upcoming album-trilogy.

Note that there is a very limited edition (only 50 copies) available on CD as well plus a T-shirt.

Suffer Ring is an electronic duo featuring Corey Davenport (Cairn Elan) and Kyle Mac (Dead Fetus). Hailing from opposite sides of the United States (Atlanta/Portland) Suffer Ring add a punk and post-hardcore methodology to electronic music, creating tracks that are less for dancing and more for spiritual purging as they say.

The 12-track release is also available as a limited edition cassette tape and also digitally right now via Bandcamp.

Synthpunk annex witch house act Suffer Ring has just launched one of the most hard-hitting singles we have heard in a while. “Hands” goes accompanied by an equally angry reactionary video which you can view below.

“Hands”, released on the Oklahoma City based label Re:Mission Entertainment, is a protest song and ties into the themes of the forthcoming Suffer Ring album “Hauntology”. The concept of “Hauntology” has a few vectors of reification in this album, some more positive than others.

Says the band: “It’s a reference to revisiting the aggressive energy from the first album, but it also speaks to culturally dead elements of the past being regurgitated to haunt us in the present. It speaks of consequences. Planting seeds and covering our eyes, screaming in confused horror at the cancerous fruit that’s born. It is an angry reactionary statement, and it is a lamentation for the innocence that is lost at the moment of enlightenment when you realize you are complicit. We ravaged nations. We are choking the earth. We’re starting the fires. You can’t wash this blood from your hands and neither can anyone else.”

“Hauntology” will be released on December 21.
