The album “Unveiled Lights” is a collaboration between Italian artists Giuseppe Verticchio (Nimh) and Maurizio Landini (Onasander). Nimh has long been an established name in the world of Ambient and Experimental music, while Onasander is, in my opinion, one of the most promising and talented projects of recent years in the Cinematic and Dark-Ambient genres.

This album has a distinctly Cinematic feel. It evokes a sense of introspection through deep, immersive sound waves that seem to wash over the listener. A progressive evolution in the structure is noticeable, with subtle and refined arrangements emerging throughout. The production is extremely restrained, yet it carries a dominant, floating character, occasionally giving way to darker passages. At times, brief spoken-word segments stand out, adding an eerie, ghost-like quality to the experience.

The album consists of five tracks that may not immediately lodge themselves in your memory, but nonetheless offer a compelling and accomplished result. (Rating:7).

About Nimh and Onasander

Giuseppe Verticchio has recorded as Nimh since 2001, releasing numerous works and collaborations across ambient, industrial and ritual-leaning genres on various labels. Maurizio Landini records as Onasander, a project built largely on collaborations with artists including Kloob, Ajna, Empusae, Alphaxone and Nimh, alongside solo albums such as “Dawn Metrics” for Winter-Light.

“Unveiled Lights” brings the two Italian artists together for a full-length collaboration, released digitally and on CD via Fluttering Dragon Records.

About Nimh :: Onasander

Nimh is the long-running dark ambient and experimental project of Italian artist Giuseppe Verticchio, active since 2001, whose other outlets include Hall of Mirrors and Twist of Fate. Onasander is Maurizio Landini, an Italian artist working mainly in Dark-Ambient and Cinematic soundscapes, whose prolific discography leans heavily on collaborations with artists including Kloob, Ajna, Empusae, Alphaxone and Ashtoreth, alongside the 2025 solo album “Dawn Metrics” on Winter-Light. “Unveiled Lights” pairs the two artists on a five-track album released via Fluttering Dragon Records.
