Italian electro-wave project TourdeForce have released the official video for “LNLB”, the single-mix version connected to the recently released album “Leaving Nothing Left Behind”. Christian Ryder explains us that LNLB stands for the album title “Leaving Nothing Left Behind”.

The two-track digital single, pairing “LNLB (Single Mix)” with the “LNLB (SIMO Remix)”, was released on February 6, 2026 via My Owl Music; you check it below on Bandcamp.

TourdeForce is an electro-wave and synth-pop project from Bergamo, Italy, founded in 2004 by musician Christian Ryder, initially working with vocalist Kyt Walken for selected recordings and live shows. In 2021, they released the album “Vargtimmar” on Space Race Records, a work combining electro-pop and punk-influenced elements. In January 2022, TourdeForce released a tribute to Death In June: “Six in the Key of Death”. In 2023 older catalogue material ended up on the collection “Compendium Vol. 1 2009-2013“.

In 2024 the band released the “Hail the Electronic Sun” album together with the single “Hey Julie (Version)“. More recently, the single “Elektro Kommando” marked a tribute to the former EKP label, and now “Leaving Nothing Left Behind” in 2026.

Two years after “Hail the Electronic Sun”, Italian electro-wave project TourdeForce will return with the new album “Leaving Nothing Left Behind”, to be released as a digipak CD via My Owl Music on 27 February 2026, this Friday that is.

The album appears as a four-panel digipak with an 8-page booklet and contains ten new songs plus three bonus versions, combining electro-wave, old-school EBM and synth-pop. According to the band the record “explores controversial issues (History, Mass Media)” while adding “a more intimate and retrospective touch.”

“Elektro Kommando“, originally released as a stand-alone single in April 2025 as a tribute to the defunct EKP label, is also included on the album in two extended versions. The band, whose discography has largely been released through EK Product since 2014, created “Elektro Kommando” to commemorate the label’s closure in 2023, following a near-fatal motorcycle accident involving EK’s founder Red Spot.

The actual album was preceded by the single “LNLB (single mix)” in February 2026.

TourdeForce, the Italian dark electro project known for blending EBM, synthpop, and industrial moods, returns with a new single titled “Elektro Kommando”. The song – written and produced by Christian Ryder, and mastered by Rob Early – is out now on Bandcamp, Spotify and other platforms.

It serves as a homage to the EKP (Elektro Kommando Product) label.

Founded in Naples in December 2008, EKP carved its own path by organizing underground events that gave the South European EBM and industrial community a much-needed stage. Initiatives included Bite The Bit – the first Southern European electro festival launched in 2011.

From 2010, EK expanded into two labels: EK Product, dedicated to darker and heavier sounds (EBM, electro, industrial), and Space Race Records, focusing on synthpop, futurepop, and IDM. Over the years, the roster grew to include 50 artists from 15 countries, with more than 100 releases under its belt.

TourdeForce, whose discography has largely been released through EK Product since 2014, created “Elektro Kommando” to commemorate the label’s closure in 2023, following a near-fatal motorcycle accident involving EK’s founder Red Spot.

Background/Info: Without becoming a leading Electro-Pop formation TourdeForce became a familiar name in the Electro-Pop scene. Several albums have been released over the years. This work brings us back to the years between 2009 and 2013. It’s an opportunity to discover remixes from songs of that period, but also demo tracks, cover versions and previously unreleased stuff.

Content: The main source of inspiration is Electro-Pop music, which has been now mixed with pure Dance-Pop and then moving into catchy, melancholic songs. Foretaste, Syrian, Luca Urbani, Dekad, Porta Vittoria and TourdeForce took care of the remixes while there’s also one song featuring Nova Pulsar. There are also cover versions of Novy Svet and Diorama. Most of the songs are sung in English, but you’ll also notice Italian vocals.

+ + + : This is not just a ‘best of’ from a period in time, but the originality is that it’s much more than simply remixes as most of the band still contributed by vocals. The previously unreleased songs and demo cuts are adding a little bonus to the work. I’m more into the ‘classical’, catchy, Electro-Pop songs like “Dancing Days” and the 2022 mix of “One July Night”. There’s also something to say about the minimal remix of “Masterplan” by Foretaste and the cool remix of “Modern Affair” by Luca Urbani

– – – : I’m not that much into the pure Dance-Pop opener “Falling In The Dark” revealing a too commercial approach. I realize the previously unreleased cuts and demos are less convincing.

Conclusion: I’ve never been totally convinced by the sound of TourdeForce, which according to me is missing an extra catchy touch.

Best songs: “One July Night”, “Dancing Days”.

The Italian project TourdeForce, aka Christian Ryder, sees a first compilation released of his older work, called “Compendium vol. 1”, but in reworked versions.

The tracklist of this compilation includes a selection of fourteen songs made between 2009 and 2013 during the “Colours in Life” era and the material has been remixed by such bands as Syrian, Foretaste, Luca Urbani and Dekad. The remixers also added extra vocals to their reworks.

Next to this you get brand-new mixes, rare and unreleased tracks such as “Falling in The Dark” (produced in 2012 for the Japanese Eurobeat market), an episode featuring Nova Pulsar (Ecuador) and two demo versions.

Out on February 21st is “Six in the Key of Death”, a tribute to Death In June by TourdeForce, the electronic music project founded by Christian Ryder in Bergamo, Northern Italy in 2004.

The release, a mini-album holding 6 tracks, comes after the conclusion of the “Anger Trilogy” (“Jedem das Seine” – 2014, “Very Industrial People” – 2018, “Vargtimmar” – 2021). The tracks covered are: “Fields of Rape”, “Holy Water”, “The Calling”, “Nowhere Street”, “She said destroy” and “Come before Christ and murder Love”. You might want to order this release pretty fast as there are only 200 copies available.

TourdeForce are currently working on a special album for EK Product, featuring 15 previously unreleased tracks: all new songs, a cover-version for a song by Diorama, remixes of TdF-tracks by Foretaste, Dekad, Syrian and others plus a number of demos.

Background/Info: “Vargtimmar” which in Swedish means ‘hour of the wolf’ is the new album of the Italian artist Christian Ryder aka TourdeForce. The album also is the last chapter from the “Anger”-trilogy; which took off with “Jedem Das Seine” (2014) and moved on with “Very Industrial People” (2018).

Content: TourdeForce holds on Electro-Pop influences, but you rapidly will notice the writing moves a step further and explores other genres as well. There’s a twist between pure, melodic Electro-Pop songs and heavier cuts featuring heavy guitar playing. It sometimes sounds a bit Punk-styled while refined with Electronic melodies. The work sounds a bit like opposite styles that have been mixed. And that’s not all as I also noticed a kind of John Lennon inspired short track (cf. “Too Many Words”) while other songs are featuring a Psychedelic touch on top of the work. The vocals have something fragile. TourdeForce is a solo-project although a few female singers and guitarists contributed to the work as well. Notice the album also features a surprising cover version of Death In June’s “Nowhere Street” while the lyrics feature words from very famous writers like William Blake, H.P. Lovecraft ao.

+ + + : It’s not easy to catch this work, which has something versatile. I personally prefer the Electro-Pop style and especially when it becomes melancholic like on “Nemo Propheta In Patria”. But I can also enjoy some harder passages with guitar play, creating a Punk-Pop offspring. “A Hero For His Son” is a noticeable song in the genre. Christian Ryder has for sure a talent to compose great melody lines, which sound like the common thread of the album.

– – – : The production of the vocals is sometimes missing a little bit power. I’m sometimes missing bit cohesion between the songs because of the album’s diversity.

Conclusion: TourdeForce is clearly a band with a very own approach and spirit. The entire album is not convincing although features noticeable cuts.

Best songs: “Nemo Propheta In Patria”, “A Hero For His Son”, “Le Dernier Des Bellini”, “You Ass Rah ‘El”.

Genre/Influences: EBM.

Format: Digital, CD.

Background/Info: Resistor is an EBM solo-project driven by Leonardo Jaime aka ‘Neuromancer’ and hails from Bogota (Colombia). I noticed Resistor previously released an EP (cf. “Breathe”) in 2015 on the excellent Black Leather Records. “Driving Force” is the official debut album featuring ten songs plus two remixes.

Content: There definitely is a match between Resistor and EK Product. The work is carried from start till the end by retro-influenced EBM. The songs are a bit cliché-like, featuring classical metallic percussion sounds and typical song structures, but there also is a kind of minimalism. The songs are mainly sung in English, but you’ll also notice a few Spanish lyrics. The songs are short and powerful. TourdeForce and AD:Key both have accomplished one remix each.

+ + + : If you’re into old-school EBM, this project definitely will get you to move your body! Resistor belongs to the classical EBM school and features a few cool songs. I especially like the kind of minimalism in the production, which also was a trademark from labels such as Black Leather Records and Black Montanas. This album reflects all the expected EBM power by its classical ingredients like metallic percussion, solid bass lines and vocals. Both remixes are adding a real bonus to the album.

– – – : The sound production is a bit compressed and that’s a pity. I think this is an important point to improve.

Conclusion: Resistor is an interesting addition to the EK Product roster and a must have for all EBM freaks.

Best songs: “Supernova”, “Reacción”, “Bodybeat”, “Driving Force”, “Reacción – TourdeForce Remix”, “Driving force – AD:Key Remix”.

2021 will start well as we’ll get the new album by the Italian solo-act TourdeForce aka Christian Ryder on January 15, 2021 via Space Race Records. “Vargtimmar” is swedish for “The hours of the wolf”. The album will hold 13 new songs mixing synthpop, EBM and some neoclassical interludes with industrial – electro rock.

The Italian musician Christian Ryder from TourdeForce and the Swedish artist Johan Hansson, protagonist of the projects We The North and Unitary, have joined up for a new project. “Split” is the title of a first EP from We The North / TourdeForce. The project mixes classic electro-synthpop with electro-wave on the 7 tracks you can find on this EP.

Genre/Influences: Electro-pop.

Background/Info: Italian artist Michael Ryder is already active under the TourdeForce moniker since 2004. A few albums saw the daylight, but “Very Industrial People” is the first new full length album in four years.

Content: The sound and influences running through this album can be considered as ‘classical’ electro-pop elements with some extra electro-wave ideas on top. It’s a somewhat sweet band easy listening with retro (80s) influences, but still revealing a few club-driven songs. Several guest (backing) singers have been asked to achieve several songs. The album is diversified and still features a few little surprises like the chorus of “Fight For Your Right”, which clearly is a wink to the legendary hit of the Beastie Boys.

+ + + : Speaking for myself I became more under the influence of the ‘harder’ cuts. They’re just more club-orientated and I especially want to mention “Innocence Of The Beast” as absolute highlight. It’s a danceable and melodic song. Another attention grabber is “Panic”, which is quite danceable as well, but still featuring a cool electro-wave touch plus excellent female vocals by Jenna Christensen. “Office Punk” is another noticeable track for its EBM elements. Another track I want to mention is “Dresden” for the great and poignant lyrics. TourdeForce is not what I would call a band with a message, but the lyrics have a real deeper signification. “Very Industrial People” is an album that will please to synth-lovers. I also have to say a word about the great and epic-like artwork of the front cover.

– – – : This album features 16 songs, which is an element I highly appreciate. There are a few cool songs although I’m missing more highlights.

Conclusion: “Very Industrial People” is a globally sweet and entertaining electro-pop work, but which is maybe missing that little extra to speak about a fully successful work. I think this band can do better.

Best songs: “Panic”, “Office Punk”, “Once We Were Kids”, “Innocence Of The Beast”.

Background/Info: French label BOREDOMproduct last year released a surprising compilation/tribute to French pop icon Etienne Daho. They now strike back with a new tribute to one of France’s greatest and most legendary new-wave & electro band Martin Dupont. The band was active during the 80s and just as BOREDomproduct they were from Marseille. Notice by the way the album is available on different formats, from CD to vinyl to cassette and of course on digital platforms. It’s a fascinating tribute because next to some familiar label bands we also get other selected bands.

Bands: Celluloide, Happiness Project, Dekad, Neutral Lies, The Rorschach Garden, Cyborgdrive, Sweater With A Hood, TourdeForce, Auto-Immune, Müller Denscheidt, Makina Girgir.

Content: You don’t necessarily have to be that familiar with the work of Martin Dupont to enjoy this compilation. It’s a diversified work mixing different elements and I really appreciate the efforts of the selected bands to transpose the original versions into a very own adaptation. The least I can say is that Martin Dupont has inspired most of the selected formations.

+ + + : I already mentioned the diversity, but I also have to mention some great adaptations into EBM by Dekad, the typical bleeping electronics from Celluloide, another EBM approach by Auto-Immune (which was already featured on the Etienne Daho tribute), the electro-wave from Müller Denscheidt and Makina Girgir. There’s a fascinating twist between the different formations and their own interpretation of Martin Dupont.

– – – : Only the biggest fans of the band will maybe be disappointed. The original versions have this 80s magic you don’t necessarily find back on a tribute. But my only little regret is that a few bands didn’t really pay that much attention to the production of the vocals.

Conclusion: This tribute to Martin Dupont incited me to get back to the original songs I haven’t heard for years now. That’s also because I really enjoyed this tribute and I can only encourage BOREDOMproduct to move on… Kas Product could be an idea….

Best bands: Dekad, Müller Denscheidt, Makina Girgir, Celluloide, Neutral Lies.

Out now is a tribute to the pioneering Marseille based cult act Martin Dupont. “Broken Memory: a tribute to Martin Dupont” is out on vinyl too (including a version with a bonus audio cassette) and can be ordered right now from the BOREDOMproduct label.

The 11-track tribute to this pioneer electronic band from Marseille includes tracks from Dekad, Neutral Lies, Celluloide, Happiness Project, Auto-Immune, The Rorschach Garden, TourdeForce, Makina GirGir, Cyborgdrive, Müller Denscheidt and Sweater With A Hood.
