Song’s David Thrussell informs us that he has launched the lyric video for “Jaded”. The video was executed by I+T=R & Associates while the track itself is taken from Song’s newest album “Eight Offerings For The Undead”.

For the younger generation reading this, Snog was formed by Australian musician Dee Thrussell, along with fellow art school friends Tim McGrath and Julia Bourke in 1989. The band’s music is a fusion of many different styles, including industrial, techno, ambient, experimental and even funk and country music.

“Death Is Only A Dream” is the final song on “Lullabies For The Lithium Age”, the new album by Snog, and features the City of Prague Philharmonic Choir. A video for the song has now been made by Richard Grant which shows a man spinning in space to portray the ‘symphony of everything’ we are and ever will be.

A project that unites different styles

Snog is a band that was formed by Australian musician David Thrussell, along with fellow art school friends Tim McGrath and Julia Bourke in 1989. The band’s music is a fusion of many different styles, including industrial, techno, ambient, experimental, funk and country music.

Snog’s first album “Lies Inc.” was released in 1992 and Pieter Bourke, who has since worked with Dead Can Dance and Lisa Gerrard, joined the band soon afterwards. The second album “Dear Valued Customer” drew heavily on techno influences and was released in 1994. Also in 1994, we saw the launch of the side projects Soma (Thrussell and Pieter Bourke) and Black Lung.

By 1997, the band was primarily a solo project for Thrussell, who collaborated with guest musicians on recordings.

Australian musician David Thrussell is back with a brand new SNOG remix album later this fall – but already available here for ordering. Titled “The Clockwork Man (Non-compliant Remixes in the Age of Obedience)” featuring further remixes by Aesthetic Perfection, Angelspit, Ross Healy and more.

You might remember that April 2016 already saw the vinyl release of “The Clockwork Man” featuring a total of 8 remixes. That vinyl was only pressed on 200 copies. The whole was derived from their late 2015 album “Compliance™” as is the case with the upcoming CD release.
