The Spoiled is an Italian project led by Giovanni Santolla. After a debut album in 2016 and a series of singles and EPs, the artist returns with his second full-length release.

This album showcases a wide range of influences. It opens with a strong Cold-Wave track infused with EBM elements, particularly noticeable in the bass lines. From there, it transitions into pure Dark-Wave and Post-Punk territories. Toward the end, two more Cold/Dark-Wave tracks emerge, once again driven by solid EBM-style bass lines. The overall sound is deeply rooted in the aesthetics of the 1980s, with occasional passages that evoke the atmosphere of The Cure.

Guitars and synths coexist in perfect harmony, resulting in a cohesive and compelling album that features several standout tracks. (Rating:7½).
