“Investigabiles Viae Dementiae (Extended Edition)” is an updated and expanded version of the debut release by the Russian project Van Roy Asylum. The EP was first released on Insane Records and now sees an extended reissue via Bandcamp.

The extended edition EP includes 4 original tracks next to 5 remixes, as well as the cover of the Eurodance 90’s hit “Mr.Vain” by Culture Beat. The EP is available now via Bandcamp and will appeal to all those fond of the dark electro as provided by act like Vampire Freaks, Tamtrum and the likes.

“Investigabiles Viae Dementiae” is the first chapter of a conceptual work talking about the author’s childhood and youth in a native town of Bryansk, Russia. It begins with being high on heroin in corridors and ends with provincial mental hospitals dungeons.

The 5th track on our free download compilation “Face The Beat: Session 4” (featuring 92 tracks) is by Ater Mors, a Santiago (Chile) based act signed to Insane Records​​​.

The track “Maldita Perra” is an old school EBM track mixing a real Nitzer Ebb bass line with dark electro vocals that remind of Tamtrum. Clubfood for sure!

Ater Mors was founded in 2004 by Suarez Joins (Joins-X) who was later joined by Dave Kostenitsch. The later is also the manager of the band and takes care of the designs next to playing keyboards in the band. You can find them right here on Facebook.

It was the band’s label manager Evgeniy Vorozheykin who pitched us this track and we’re very glad he did! You can listen/download the track “Maldita Perra” below.

Out of the blue there is a new video teaser by Tamtrum for their “ATVFM (allez tous vous faire mettre)” CD/DVD (available here). Included on the DVD are live recordings of the band’s farewell gig in Paris (Divan du Monde) in September 2012, but also their 30 minute live show at Hellfest in 2010. The DVD comes topped with some video clips as well as a 75 minute self-filmed “rock-umentary” shot on the road with and by the band members throughout 2005 to 2012.

The CD holds a 15-track compilation gathering the band’s highlights, but also a bunch of unreleased songs and rare versions including fully newly rerecorded versions of the songs “Tantrum”, “Extazy” and “My Vile Venom”. Bandcamp buyers will get the full audio monty including also the live audio of the DVD (available here).
