SIIE is a Swiss–German duo that has released numerous singles this year, culminating in this 10-track debut album. The record is driven by a strong sense of introspection, digging deeper into the universal pursuit of balance and intensity that shapes different moments of our lives.

This theme is translated into a danceable Electro framework where EBM, Dark-Techno, and even a few Acid-laced sequences intertwine. The tracks are incredibly hard-hitting and are further distinguished by French lyrics delivered in a half-spoken, half-sung style by the female singer. The dark strings that float over the production sound absolutely fantastic.

As far as I’m concerned, this debut album is a very promising introduction to SIIE. (Rating:8).

The German label Cold Transmission has released the album “Acmé”, the debut album by the Swiss-German electro duo SIIE. The LP version is scheduled for release in mid to late June 2025, issued as a limited edition of 300 copies on solid light pink vinyl.

“Acmé” presents a collection of 10 tracks that blend synthpop, EBM, and techno. Cold Transmission says that this might be “the most important signing to the label since Ultra Sunn.”

Performed in French, the album explores themes of introspection and the quest for emotional balance.

The “Acmé” album will also be available in digital CD format earlier, with the 6-panel digipak edition scheduled for release on May 2, 2025. The CD version will include the same 10 tracks.

About SIIE

SIIE is a German-Swiss electronic duo founded in 2021. The project maintains anonymity to center attention on music and visuals rather than identity. SIIE blends darkwave, techno, and EBM influences while using French lyrics to narrate themes that range from mundane routines to dystopian longing.

The band debuted in 2023 with a trio of singles and music videos via U.S. label Manta Recordings. These introduced a distinctive visual identity rooted in alien imagery, cinematic framing, and subdued lighting.

In 2024, SIIE released the single “À Contre Jour” featuring Sian and Damon Jee on Joris Voorn’s Spectrum imprint, as well as the collaborative track “Violent” with Idoru, accompanied by remixes from Panther Modern and Skelesys.

SIIE began live performances in 2024, with appearances at Berlin’s Kit Kat Club, Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, and Logo in Hamburg. Their video for “Le Sept” earned third place in the Performance category at the 2024 Berlin Music Video Awards (BMVA).

“Acmé” marks their full-length debut and their first release with Cold Transmission Music.

The dark electro project SIIE has just dropped its second single and video “Cité Lunaire” via the Bad Homburg-based Cold Transmission Music label. “Cité Lunaire” is the second single off the upcoming debut album “Acmé” to be released this spring.

Just like the first single “Grand Virage”, “Cité Lunaire” again blends EBM and synthpop. The single holds 3 tracks and besides the title track it comes accompanied by an electro remix by Panthera, and an extended version of that track.
