The 59th track on our free download compilation “Face The Beat: Session 4” (featuring 92 tracks) is by the Colombian band Psyborg Corp..

The track we offer here comes from the band’s second album “The Frozen Shrines of Obsydyana”, a conceptual LP telling the sci-fi story of Obsydyana, a crystal planetary system with a hi-tech society threatened by a cosmic phenomenon in the midst of war and thus facing annihilation.

The band signed to the German label BlackRain/Noitekk in 2010, and to Orion Records (Chile) in 2014 after they won the Orion Records ‘Best Latinamerican Band 2011’ contest. In 2015, the band signed to Insane Records and re-released their last album as a digital deluxe format with bonus tracks. A band to keep an eye on, connect with them right here on Facebook.

Insane Records has announced the first single from Psyborg Corp.’s forthcoming album “Highways to Zenith”: “Synthezoids”.

With the single the Industrial / Cyberpunk trio announces the album’s sound pallet: synthwave atmospheres full of sci-fi nostalgia for movies and videogames from the 80’s mixed with industrial / harsh electro vibes.

The single marks the end of “Obsÿdÿana” , the duology work that was started with the previous album “The Frozen Shrines of Obsÿdÿana” (2014).

Track 49 on our free download compilation “Face The Beat: Session 3” is by the Colombian act Psyborg Corp.. “Glacier Death Squad’s Rampage (Cube​-​[​x] Remix)” is a hard punching exclusive rework for this compilation of the band’s “Glacier Death Squad’s Rampage” track which was originally featured on the band’s 2015 album “The Frozen Shrines of Obsÿdÿana” out via Insane Records.

The band entered the industrial scene with the “The Mechanical Renaissance” album and the “Technocracy” single, both released in 2010. “The Frozen Shrines of Obsÿdÿana” is their second album offering a ruthless wintry machine of 16 tracks full of icy melodies, rumbling avalanche bass lines and colossal freezing beats. Released in 2 versions (a normal and a deluxe edition) the album is a conceptual piece created by the band telling the sci-fi story of “Obsÿdÿana”, a crystal planetary system with a hi-tech society threatened by a cosmic phenomenon in the midst of war, facing annihilation.

The latest work of these guys was the “The Frozen Shrines of Obsÿdÿana” CD which was released Black Rain / Noitekk label in 2014. Now in cooperation with Insane Records the digital deluxe edition is being released.

Besides the songs you already know, it includes several remixes and the new version of “Within My Winter” with guest vocals by Karen Castiblanco. The remixes were delivered by Thornsectide, Exemia, Resistor and Aliennation.
