The Soviet Net Label, a virtual record label, established in 2007 in Argentina and specialized in post-industrial sub-genres has prepared a special YouTube show for tonight. Tonight, April, 21st, they will be honoring Robert Smith on his birthday and celebrating the anniversaries of the The Cure’s albums “Wish” and “Pornography” on their YouTube channel.

Nineteen bands will perform their versions of the songs that are part of these albums. On the list we find Amöniacö, And When I Die I Said, Antena Mantis, Ariel Maniki and the Black Halos, Black Noise Machine, Cubüs feat. Louder, Curetaje, Dr. Spectrum, Maldigo, My Fusion Blast, No Tenemos Nombre, Post Machinery Environment, Púlsar, Recipe Morado, Sacré Nom!, Solo-X, Tenebras Sex, The Final Sound and Último Refugio.

Good news from Argentina. At the end of 2020 Post Machinery Environment launched the singles “Ritual (Year 13)” and “Drugs Will Tear Us Apart” in all digital stores along with a video clip. They now plan the recording of two more singles for the following months of the year, in addition to a video clip, recorded during 2020 and 2021, with the special participation of the American violinist Lisa Miles.

Currently the band is preparing its participation in the online festivals “Electro Freak Show MMXXI” and “Festival Under Latinoamericano”, and evaluating the possibility of participating in more virtual festivals, due to the limitations that still exist for live performances.

Post Machinery Environment contributed the track “Drugs Will Tear Us Apart” to our “Face The Beat 6” compilation. Check out the track below.

While Front 242 is reigning the Bandcamp charts with their free EP “Detix Static” a small German label has announced the release of a 3CD tribute to Front 242. The first edition comes in a blue design and is limited to just 242 copies (you can order it right here).

The 3CDs feature 16 bands on each CD for a total of 48 bands (you’ll recognise various more well known bands such as Leather Strip, PNE, Kant Kino, Machinista, etc). In total you get 48 covers of Front 242 classics. The brain behind this project is Stefan Rukavina whom you might know from the German Radio Body Music, a label and radio station entirely dedicated to the genres EBM, Anhalt EBM, dark electro, synthpop, futurepop, N.D.W., electronic 80s, industrial and experimental music.
