Longford-based darkwave artist OWLS will release their debut full-length album “Death Games” on June 6, 2025 via Negative Gain Productions.

The album, described as a “haunting exploration of love, mortality, and the fragile nature of existence,” draws on influences from post-punk, goth, and synth-driven music. Referencing artists such as Lebanon Hanover, Boy Harsher, and Black Marble, “Death Games” builds a narrative arc of a courtship fated to end in death. According to the label, “the tension between love and loss is palpable in every note.”

The album will be available in digital format across all major platforms. Pre-orders are open via Bandcamp, where the track “Give Me Your Stare” is currently featured.

OWLS is a darkwave and electronic music project from Longford, Ireland, founded by producer and performer Emee. Active in the Irish underground scene, OWLS fuses elements of post-punk, goth, darkwave, and minimal synth to construct brooding, emotionally intense soundscapes.
