Out on now on SkyQode is a brand new single “Hellmouth” by Italian futurepop / EBM act Stars Crusaders, taken off the band’s upcoming third album entitled “M.A.T.E.R.”. With “Hellmouth” Stars Crusaders deliver a dance floor orientated tracks that mixes hard hitting EBM beats and melodic futurepop synth lines very well. Add to that a Latin detail.

In addition, the single features remixes by Anticorpi and N-616, as well as a new version of “Sheer” from the band’s debut album.

Stars Crusaders is a four-piece electronic band from Italy founded in 2013. The music of Stars Crusaders combines elements of synthpop, futurepop and EBM with a futuristic and mystical atmosphere. They released several EPs and two well-received albums, “New Horizons” (2014) and “Welcome To Hydra” (2017). In 2019, the band got signed to SkyQode and released their single “Army Of Impostors”.

Out via SkyQode now is “I Am Bastard”, a new single by the Russian harsh EBM duo Invisible Devastation. It’s the first material from the duo after several years of total studio silence. You can check the 5-track release right below. The single features new versions of “I Am Bastard” and “Invasion” from the debut album. Both tracks showcase the band’s current sound. The release also includes two remixes by N-616 and Sergie Mercury, as well as the instrumental version of the title track.

Invisible Devastation was formed back in 2009, as a secret project of two members of the synthpop band Mechanical Apfelsine. In 2015, they released their debut album “The 13th Apostle” but after releasing a follow-up EP in 2016, the duo went on a prolonged hiatus. The band is currently in the studio working on brand new material, due to be released later this year.

Out now is “Zugzwang”, the first official single by the duo Dark-o-matic, which recently signed to the fine label SkyQode.

Dark-o-matic was founded by Greg Dovas in 2017. Greg had switched from progressive rock music to electronic music earlier with his other project Neonskylines which was basically instrumental synthwave. In an attempt to expand his experimentation, he decided to add vocals reaching a more synth-pop sound. That was the starting point of his collaboration with Piero Delux from the project Elsehow.

Enlisting the help of sound engineer and producer George Nerantzis, the duo started recording their new music best described as a cross between synthwave and modern synthpop but with a darker edge to it.

The single “Zugzwang” features four tracks including the title track “Zugzwang” as well as remixes by Unity One, People Theatre and N-616. With “Zugzwang”, Dark-o-matic has launched a rather attractive teaser for their upcoming debut album, due later this year. You can order the single right here or below via Bandcamp.
