Out now is the all new album by the industrial rock artist Drøwnd called “(An)Aesthetic”. “(An)Aesthetic” is an album that has been a long while in the making, with most of it being written during the lockdown when the pandemic first hit. “(An)Aesthetic” is out on Armalyte Industries for purchase as both a physical CD jewel case and as a digital download.

“(An)Aesthetic” holds 14 tracks including the two singles “Filth” and the original, full-length version of “Sinner”.

Joe Crudgington explains the album: “The concept and ideas behind (An)Aesthetic are that of human excess, emotions, feelings of being trapped and to be unsure about the thoughts that you think – if they are normal, if you are normal and repressing them and punishing yourself for them in a vicious cycle. It’s definitely the heaviest stuff I’ve written so far and I’m really pleased with how it all sounds and of course how the artwork turned out. This is just the beginning and there are plenty more ideas in the pipeline.”

Also out today is the new video for the album track “Stripped”. The video (cut from two individual performances) is a body-based art performance by artists Kris Canavan and Bonnie Bakeneko that uses trauma as a language to communicate love, loss and longing.

No Other Gods have a brand new track “2 Minutes Hate” which is out now, you can check it below. The concept for the song comes from George Orwell’s 1984 “The Two Minutes Hate”, a daily period in which Party members of the society of Oceania must watch a film depicting the Party’s enemies and express their hatred for them for exactly two minutes.

The horrible thing about the Two Minutes Hate was not that one was obliged to act a part, but that it was impossible to avoid joining in. Within thirty seconds any pretence was always unnecessary.

Out on December 12th via Zero Sum Records (Believe digital) is the new single “Prosthetic Minds” by the industrial act Hate Vessel. You can now exclusively preview the track on Side-Line weeks before the official release.

Hate Vessel is the creation of Joe Crudgington, who began writing alone in 2013 after becoming disillusioned with traditional band set-ups and the inability to convey the sounds he wanted within them. Whilst rehearsing for early solo renditions of Hate Vessel, he was approached by Paul Traveller, who liked the sound and feel of the music and expressed a wish to play drums within the band. They were soon joined by Nik Butcher (bass/electronics) who found the band online, and most recently by guitarist Richie Symons who will add their live set up.

Joe is musically influenced by bands like NIN, Marilyn Manson, Skinny Puppy, and electronic drum and bass artists such as Noisia and Current Value. He is also drawn to unsettling, abrasive sounds, imagery and score from horror motion pictures; and the works of prolific authors like George Orwell, Hunter S Thompson, and William S. Burroughs.
