J∆55 eKOJ—primarily known for his involvement with à;Grumh…—has been quite active in recent years and now presents eight new tracks with his latest album.

“Diaboliques Mécaniques” is a raw, unpolished composition shaped by an experimental take on Industrial sound. The songs are diverse—at times sounding completely disjointed—and are held together by an impressive arsenal of sounds and effects, all elevated by the passionate—if not downright possessed—voice of this Belgian pioneer. The sound production is intense and overwhelming, occasionally offering surprises such as the sudden emergence of a martial rhythm.

For those who appreciate an atypical Industrial experience, I highly recommend this new release by J∆55 eKOJ. It’s a kind of Dadaist music collage, the kind only this unique artist could create. (Rating:7½).

J∆55 eKOJ draws on a legacy of industrial music forged during his tenure in acts such as à;GRUMH…, Hà;PEOPLE.3.55, and iOsael Purple Project. His solo work continues to explore harsh, ritualistic textures described by the artist as “a malfunctioning ritual”.
