The Franco-Swiss EBM group Gerard Jugno 106 has unveiled a brand-new single and video titled “Crazy Agricole.” This song pays homage to the individuals affected by the tragic events in Sainte Soline on March 25, 2023.

Delving deeper into the incident, an unauthorized protest erupted against a large water reservoir project in Sainte-Soline, located in western France. Critics argue that such colossal artificial reservoirs privatize a shared resource, primarily catering to aggressive, production-focused agricultural practices that overlook the implications of climate change. The demonstration escalated into a fierce confrontation with the police, leading to multiple casualties on both sides, with two in critical condition. For a more comprehensive understanding, Le Monde, which had reporters present at the location, juxtaposed the narratives of the protesters and the officials.
