Enduser, the long-running breakcore and experimental drum and bass project of American producer Lynn Standafer, will release the new full-length “Unquiet” on January 23, 2026 via Decay Recordings. The Swedish-based artist presents his first long-play in a decade, following 2016’s “Enter to Exit” on Hands Productions.

“Unquiet” arrives on LP and digital formats, with pre-orders already available on Enduser’s official Bandcamp page. The LP contains thirteen tracks, including new material and three remixes.

The lead track “Northern Tribe” is already available as a standalone single on digital platforms, while “To Address” is scheduled as a pre-album single for January 8, 2026. The album also folds in updated versions of recent material such as “Turning Point” and “Street Lamp”, previously issued in single form through Sonicterror Records.

Three remixers extend the album’s material into different drum and bass and bass-music directions. Homemade Weapons reworks “Where I Found You”, Nowan delivers a new version of “Northern Tribe”, and Scrwz revisits “Cabin Fever”, adding an additional layer of interpretation to the LP’s core themes.

Written and arranged over two years in Stockholm, “Unquiet” is a response to the contrast between Swedish summers and winters. “The tracks are all quite different but they all tell a little story about my life here in Sweden,” says Standafer, adding: “The moods between summer and winter here are so drastically different, it really affects you as a person – not just due to the cold weather but the extreme darkness (and of course the endless sun in the summer). I think most of these tracks have a bit of both in them, some light and some dark.”

Standafer describes a slow, iterative writing and production process behind the record. “I really took a lot of time with these tracks – both from a creative / composition side as well as technically with the mixing,” he recounts. “Each track started as a sketch, and once I had four or five, I began finishing them one by one. After a couple were nailed down, I started more sketches, and it all started to flow together. Once the momentum hit, the record really began to take shape.”

Enduser is the recording alias of American electronic producer Lynn Standafer, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. Active under this name since the early 2000s, he emerged from the breakcore and drum and bass underground with a series of CD-R releases and 12-inch EPs that combined dense breakbeats with industrial and hip-hop influences.

Standafer began the Sonicterror label in Kentucky in 2002, issuing a split 7-inch with Tek-Mind and releasing work by artists such as Line 47, Rusuden and Dev79. Early Enduser tracks appeared on labels including Mirex, Sonicterror and Ad Noiseam, with releases such as “From Zero”, “Run War”, “Comparing Paths” and the Bollywood-sampling EP “Bollywood Breaks”.

Through the mid-2000s, Enduser issued a dense run of albums and EPs on labels like Ad Noiseam, Hymen Records, Ohm Resistance and Sublight, moving between high-velocity breakcore, industrial-leaning drum and bass and slower, hip-hop-influenced tracks. Key full-lengths from this period include “Form Without Function” (Hymen), “Pushing Back” (Ad Noiseam) and “Left” (Ohm Resistance), alongside numerous singles and split releases.

Standafer has also worked within collaborative projects. He is part of the industrial drum and bass group The Blood of Heroes alongside Bill Laswell, Justin K. Broadrick, Submerged and Dr. Israel, contributing to releases on Ohm Resistance in 2010 and 2012.

In 2016 he released the album “Enter to Exit” on German label Hands Productions, marking his last full-length LP before “Unquiet”.More recent years have seen a series of singles and EPs, including “Resurface”, “Timeline”, “Stare Into The Abyss” and “Fallen Night”, as well as collaborations and remixes issued through Hands and Sonicterror.
