The new e:lect album “Forgotten Future” is out now and features 10 new tracks. The release comes via the Danish label Town And Towers Records and is the follow-up to the 2022 album “Disoriented Illusion”.

About e:lect

e:lect is a female electronic duo from Stockholm, Sweden with the members Hella Helin and Anna Ljunggren. The two childhood friends formed e:lect back in 2016. Both have been involved in different musical projects over the years. e:lect’s music can be described as a mixture of futuristic synthpop with EBM vibes.

The band is signed with the Nordic electronic music label, Town And Towers Records. Since 2020 the band have released two albums, an EP and several new singles during the last two years. Disrupted Being, a Danish electropop act, has released a new single titled “Deeper”. This release marks their first original song in nearly two years, following their previous track “Sailor”. “Deeper” is available for listening across major music services right now.

Disrupted Being’s next performance will be a sold-out concert with Boytronic at RUST in Copenhagen on April 26th, 2024, featuring Rusty Egan as the DJ for the event. Disrupted Being will also play at Basement CPH, May 3rd 2024 with Swedish female fronted electronic act E:lect, HellaMox and the Danish EBM band ManMindMachine.

About Disrupted Being

The band is based in Copenhagen and consists of Morten Kristensen (synths and backing vocals) and Peter Wammen (synths and lead vocal). Their music features a blend of classic analogue synths and modern electronic sounds, drawing inspiration from 80s synth music and artists like Jean Michel Jarre, Camouflage, and Ultravox. Morten Kristensen notably favors the ARP Odyssey synth, a preference shared with Ultravox’s Billy Currie.

Kristensen and Wammen first met in 1988. Although their project has been ongoing since their meeting, various personal and professional commitments intermittently paused their musical pursuits. In 2018, they officially reformed and began performing as Disrupted Being, which led to their signing with Danish electronic label Town & Towers Records. Since then, they have released multiple singles, an EP, and performed live concerts in Denmark, Sweden, and Germany.

Out today via the Danish label Town & Towers Records is the new single “Heat” from the Swedish/Danish darkwave act, HellaMox. The band says that “the song is about our planet and it’s time to open up our eyes.”

Behind HellaMox we find Hella Helin from Swedish female powered synth act E:lect, and Morten Kristensen from the Danish darkwave act Disrupted Being. Hella and Morten met back in may 2023 at a concert in Stockholm on the Patricia, where both e:elect and Disrupted Being were playing a concert that same evening.

HellaMox played their first concert in November 2023 at the synth venue Charles Dickens in Helsingborg, Sweden. The next Hellamox concert will be on May 3rd, 2024 in Copenhagen at the Basement CPH.

The Denmark-based label Town And Towers Records recently announced the addition of Swedish female electronic duo e:lect to their roster and now offers the band’s newest single, “Collision” (available on Bandcamp and other digital platforms).

Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, e:lect consists of Hella Helin and Anna Ljunggren, two childhood friends who established the act in 2016. Both members have previously been involved in various musical projects. Blending futuristic synthpop with elements of EBM, e:lect has released four singles and two albums to date, in addition to being featured on several electronic music compilations such as Side-Line Magazine’s “Face The Beat: session 5” and “Face The Beat: session 6“.

E:lect’s upcoming third album, titled “WIP”, is set to be released through Town And Towers Records later this year. In anticipation of the album’s release, several single teasers, including the newly-released “Collision”, will be made available.

The Swedish EBM pop duo e:lect is preparing its full length to be released later this Summer. The new material was already teased in the spring of 2020 with the release of the EP “Blue Mind” and this month when the single “I Don’t Care” will be released.
