VampireFreaks have announce the line-up for the 3-day music festival Dark Force Fest which takes place in Parsippany, NJ (one hour from NYC) on May 2nd to 4th, 2025.

The festival features 35 bands performing across two stages: including ORGY, The Birthday Massacre, Covenant, Suicide Commando, Aesthetic Perfection, Genitorturers, Funker Vogt, Razed In Black, Calabrese, SITD, Haujobb, Klutæ, TRAITRS, Beborn Beton, God Module, Flesh Field, Dead On A Sunday, Rosegarden Funeral Party, Amelia Arsenic, NYXX, Panic Priest, 2 Shadows, Seraphim Shock, Dancing Plague, genCAB, Occults, SINE, Circuit Preacher, Corbeau Hangs, Die Sexual, Frenchy and the Punk, Everything Goes Cold, Contracult, Project .44, and Whorticulture.

Dark Force Fest takes place at the Sheraton Parsippany, a castle-style hotel that features 44,000 square feet of event space and 370 hotel rooms. While the hotel rooms in the main venue sold out within days of announcing the festival, there are still overflow hotels in the surrounding area.

The Brussels-based Spleen+ label (a division of Alfa Matrix) has prepared a deluxe 7CD collector’s edition – “Resurgence” – which brings together 133 active bands from across the globe, spanning the diverse sub-genres born from post-punk’s iconic roots. The release comes housed in a luxurious vinyl-sized box, and comes accompanied by a 28-page book. Background/Info: Los Angeles (USA) based duo Rosselinni and Anton Floriano are back on track unleashing this new EP featuring three songs.

Content: This EP sounds more EBM driven than their previous work although it remains an eclectic Electro-underground style. It’s not only more EBM-like but still reveals Pop elements with some darkness on top. The songs are still driven by female vocals.

+ + + : I was deeply impressed by the “Bound”-EP while the opening song of “Inservio” only confirms the potential of this duo. “Lights Down Low” is a solid track mixing darkness, pumping kick and hot, female vocals.

– – – : Compared to “Lights Down Low” both other tracks rather sounds like B-sides.

Conclusion: I was more into the “Bound-EP” but I still believe there’s something great hiding inside this band.

The Los Angeles-based dark electronic duo, Die Sexual (aka Rosselinni and Anton Floriano), have released a new EP, “Inservio”. The EP is available on all major digital platforms including Bandcamp and Spotify.

“The EP handles themes such as submission, devotion and slavery to the dark nights, strobing lights and the pulsating beat of the music,” so the band says. Founding member, Anton Floriano adds: “We wanted to capture that feeling in these songs, the surrendering of your body and soul to the night, the music, your desires, letting go of all cares and just being ‘slaves to the tempo’.”

The band debuted in September 2023 with the EP, “Bound” of which our reviewer said this in his review: “I think there’s no better description of Die Sexual’s sound then referring to Zombie Girl and that’s more than simply a reference! This band took me by surprise and especially both debut cuts are pure sonic dynamite. This is modern and powerful underground Electro which is going to  make you dance.”

Background/Info: Rosselinni and Anton Floriano is a Los Angeles (USA) based-duo which last year released their debut-EP “Bound” featuring three songs.

Content: I never heard of the band before, although the name sounds familiar… The sound is a hard, danceable, mix of Dark-Electro, EBM, Industrial and some Technoid sound treatments. The songs are carried by menacing bass lines and sexy, female, vocals.

+ + + : I think there’s no better description of Die Sexual’s sound then referring to Zombie Girl and that’s more than simply a reference! This band took me by surprise and especially both debut cuts are pure sonic dynamite. This is modern and powerful underground Electro which is going to  make you dance.

– – – : The last song sounds softer and rather a B-side cut.

Conclusion: Die Sexual is a name you’ll easily keep in mind; great Electro stuff for the dancefloor.

The Los Angeles-based electronic duo Die Sexual, Rosselinni and Anton Floriano, have unveiled their debut EP, “Bound”. Lyrically “Bound” is about our beliefs of submission and dominance being an intricate part of many human relationships.

The duo states: “We wanted to create music that reflects the dynamic interplay that deepens connections and intimacy. While this has been a stepping stone into our own discovery, we wanted to challenge listeners to unearth their inner-most passions and relinquish inhibition.”

The Bound EP was crafted in the duo’s home studio using vintage analog and modular synthesizers. Influences range from classic EBM to modern techno.

Bound is available on all major digital platforms including Spotify and Bandcamp and holds three tracks.
