The synthpop / futurepop act Chrysanth has released a brand new single, “Towards The Sun”. It’s available on Bandcamp now and will be on Spotify from December 31st on.

The single contains two new songs, “Towards The Sun” and “The Sound” and a remix of “Black Rose” from the previous album. The single acts as a teaser for a new EP coming in 2022.

Chrysanth is the project of a duo consisting of US producer Andy Brennan and Canadian vocalist Jason Qiu. The project was featured on Sideline’s “Face The Beat 3” and “Face The Beat 4” and also landed on Alfha Matrix’ EBM2 compilation.

Good news, there’s a brand new album from the electro act Chrysanth. Chrysanth was featured on the last two Face the Beat compilations and also found its way on the famous Electro Body Matrix 4CD compilation by Alfa Matrix and is widely considered as an upcoming talent.

The past 2 years producer Andy Brennan has been working on a new studio album for this darkwave/electro project. On “Fairy Tales of Eternal Economic Growth” we find vocalist Jason Qiu on 5 (of 13) tracks offering a very appealing sound developed over the years.

The 13th track on our free (or pay-what-you-want to support our charity work) download compilation “Face The Beat: Session 5” is by the US-based darkwave act Chrysanth.

Chrysanth is the dark electro project of Andy Brennan, located in the US. He’s self released three EPs and is actively seeking a vocalist, so contact Andy if you are in for a good old darkwave act project. Chrysanth is inspired by classic art, and the concept of living in restless excess. More info on Bandcamp and on the project’s Facebook page.

Four years ago, the project was featured on “Face The Beat: Session 4” with the track “Hearts of Titans”, also a dark instrumental track with elements from dance, electropop and trance but structured in such a way that it grabbed our attention quite rapidly.

The track we offer now, “Divine Introversion”, is a brand new track recorded last year and caught our attention as it’s ready made to get some cool dark electro vocals layered on it. You can listen to “Divine Introversion” right below.

The 12th track on our free download compilation “Face The Beat: Session 4” (featuring 92 tracks) is by Chrysanth aka Andrew Brennan.

“Hearts of Titans” is a dark instrumental track with elements from dance, electropop and trance but structured in such a way that it grabbed our attention quite rapidly. An absolute newcomer (the project was only launched in October!). Let’s see if we’ll get some more tunes from the studio of mister Brennan, we surely hope so!
