(By our Norwegian correspondent Jan Ronald Stange) In a series of new deluxe remasters released in December 2022, the Norwegian electro pop band Electro Spectre has released their complete back catalogue of albums from 2008 to 2019 in remastered deluxe versions: ‘Watch It All Turn’ (2009), ‘Dangerous Game’ (2012), ‘Bullets & Desert Blooms’ (2014), ‘Beautiful Lies’ (2016) and ‘A Man-Made Sun’ (2018).

The remasters also include the missing album ‘Pop Ghost’ from 2008. ‘Pop Ghost’ was initially redrawn from the official discography, as the band was not satisfied with the mixing of the album back in 2007. With proper restoration and mastering the album became available again in just a few days ago, including a lot of bonus track, sounding exactly how the band wanted them.

The remasters, all released the last couple of weeks, includes remixes by SnifferGod (Alex Møklebust / Zeromancer), Morganix, Technomancer, Mike Maximus, Nergaard, CAPA, Mudman, Apodyopsis, Anstalt, Sonny Sonance, Stanley Cupid, Mondträume, Martin Rudefelt and a lot more.
The “Disc 2” on the remasters are filled with previously unreleased bonus songs, including the Depeche Mode cover song ‘Fools’!

The Norwegian duo Electro Spectre (Isak Rypdal and Alexander Björneboe) are back with a brand new 6-track single. “Lovers don’t forgive” turns out to be a low-tempo track which is remixed 5 times for this digital only single. Especially check out the lounge-like Angha Tribe Dub, a feast for the ear. As usual the lyrics are top notch, Alexander Björneboe is straight out the best vocalist that the electropop scene has, and hopefully this single is a teaser for a brand new Electro Spectre album, by far one of the finest electropop acts active these days.

Usually the band is reductive to release its demos (a pity because they are already damn good in those more stripped down versions) but they released one for their new single which you can listen to below.

In further news, “Dangerous Game” and “Bullets & Desert Blooms” see a reissue on CD Limited Edition in January 2018. The albums will be released in a completely re-worked high-quality version, including a lot of bonus tracks. To be continued!

‘Been Too Long’, the new EP and remix bundle from the Norwegian electro synth-poppers Electro Spectre, was released on various platforms last week.
The EP contains the four new tracks ‘Little Wonder’, ‘Been Too Long’, ‘The Colour Of Your Love’ and ‘The Secret Path’. Also included is various remixes of the singles ‘Been Too Long’ and ‘Little Wonder’. The new songs will thrive in your car speakers or at the beach this summer, and the dub/club remixes keeps the tempo up for the party evenings.

The EP will also be released as a Limitied Edition Collector CD too, and the music video for ‘Been Too Long’ is in production now, so check our Facebook page in a few days for its release.
I also have another update; our bestselling album ‘Bullets & Desert Blooms’ are at the moment unavailable, but the ownership are being renegotiated back to the bands own label, Crab Key Records, and it’ll be re-released as a remastered deluxe edition during August.
