Out via the fine label SkyQode is the “Koma:Redux” EP, the long-awaited new release from darkwave / synthpop band Cold In May and this after four years of total silence.

“Koma:Redux” is a present to all Cold In May fans who have kept supporting the band during their silent years. It not only marks the band’s return from the coma, but also bridges the past and the present of Cold In May by featuring both new tracks and tracks that were originally written more than ten years ago, even before the debut album.

Out since July 1st via the SkyQode label is the debut single “Just A Little Time” from Arsenio Archer, the mastermind behind such stylistically diverse bands as Cold In May, Diversant:13, Tribal A.D., and many others. Not surprisingly the single sounds very mature.

With this project, Arsenio turns his creative powers towards modern cinematic music, combing orchestral parts with elements of electronic music like trip-hop, breaks and downtempo. “Just A Little Time” is taken off the forthcoming debut album “Cinematic” which is scheduled to be released later this Summer.

It will appeal to fans of Rob Dougan, Unkle, Hans Zimmer and the like, and if you ask us also Recoil or Massive Attack fans will dig this. In addition to the title track, the 2-track single features a non-album track, the delicious melodious orchestral piece “Mona Code”. You can buy the single now from Bandcamp and from iTunes. Out on March 8 via SkyQode is a brand new 5-track digital EP “Точка Невозврата [Point Of No Return]” by Cold In May. It follows the band’s third full-length album “Холодный Мир [The Cold World]” released in October 2015 also via SkyQode. The new EP features 5 previously unreleased tracks.

The mix of synth-driven melodies, dominant guitars, and the vocals should make that this release will appeal to fans of Diary Of Dreams, Zeraphine, Lord Of The Lost and the like.
