Out on December 6th on limited vinyl (+insert with band info) is the new Antler Records compilation “Early Years Vol. 3”. The release is part of a series where albums and compilations from the extensive Antler Records archive is being re-released. The first compilations, “Early Years Vol. 1” and “Vol. 2” quickly sold out.

The material on this new volume was remastered by Equus Mastering.

So what can you expect? “Never Alive” by Snowy Red originates from “The Right to Die”, first released in 1982 on Dirty Dance and later included in the Antler compilation “1980-1984” in 1988. The Klinik’s track “Hours and Hours” comes from “Sabotage”, initially issued by 3Rio Records in 1985 and subsequently featured on “Melting Close/Sabotage” in 1987. Poésie Noire’s “The Gioconda Smile” debuted on the 12” single of the same name, released by ARS Records in 1985, and later appeared on the compilation “Complicated Antler” in 1990. A Split-Second’s “Rigor Mortis” is the original version from their 1987 album “Ballistic Statues”. Men 2nd contributed “You Owe Me Something” from their album “Red Tape”, also released in 1987. Company of State’s “Hound” features on “Drowning in Fire”, another release from 1987. The Arch’s “Stay Lay” was introduced on their 1989 12” EP of the same name. “Haydn (Or Mine)” by Attrition comes from their 1988 album “At The Fiftieth Gate”. In Sotto Voce’s self-titled track “In Sotto Voce” was featured on their 1988 12” release. Finally, Noise Unit’s “Dry Lungs” is part of their debut album “Grinding into Emptiness”, released in 1989.
