It has been a busy weekend, after being interviewed by various magazines and radio broadcasts concerning our very correct reports on the reunion by The Police, we now see that every detail we have released was indeed correct. The Police DID play The Grammys, they DID play "Roxanne" and they WILL embark on a worldwide tour.
Why do we stress this? Well, good to know for those who followed the coverage we brought on this reunion, the news was denied by the US PR agent of Sting and the agency (through a certain Tracy Bufferd from Forge Ahead Media, Inc.) even contacted Side-Line to demand that we would take the news offline - which we refused - as it was according to them entirely 'innaccurate'. They also contacted other media insinuating we were blatant liars. Honestly, we were very surprised to see a PR agency act this way. On top of that our sources which confirmed the details were close to the band, close to the Grammys organisation and very close to the band's tour agent. If they have a problem with keeping the news indoors, they should not start attacking a magazine in public but rather start speeding up their PR machinery.
It was also sad to see that various big news agencies ripped the news we brought without adding a proper source, some even said they knew it all along, yeah, right... that's why they waited until we published it to copy paste our news. Suffices to read our news and the date it was posted on.
And now we just have to wait a few hours to see The Police announce a worldwide tour through the USA, Canada and Europe knocking off in Canada. It will be good seeing Sting, Andy Summers and Steward Copeland back live and it has been fun leaking the news bit by bit.
