it's out... 49$ for an update... I'll probably get it this weekend to check it out. But from the vids and stuff it looks as good as old z3ta :)

This synth is just amazing. I bought the update as soon as it was out yesterday.
maaah but still no RTAS version...
How much different is it from 1? Does it overwrite the first one?
Upgrade is cheap so most likely will get it... although NI are doing Kemplete 8 upgrade for a great deal for those who have Kontakt.
I bought the upgrade... and I have to say it's pretty good (it's z3ta+ after all!). although it takes up quite a bit of CPU...
Z3ta is a big resource hog. I always kill the FX.
Does it sound better-have more sound options though or is it just a GUI upgrade? The demos did nothing for me. I want to hear some raw waveform manipulations.

I haven't found a demo for this yet, but I really want to check it out. $99 is friggin cheap!
It looks like they have greatly improved the waveform interpolation, and have made it so the wave shaping paramaters (lots) can be assigned in the mod matrix (that is awesome). Should be able to push it harder. Not sure if they've done any other internal oversampling or anything, but the interpolation improvements would definitely mean more CPU (don't realy care hahaha).
Looks like they've added some new filter algos as well.
The GUI upgrade is highly welcome from me. I never liked using that synth before, it always seemed like a lot of trapped potential. I'd much prefer a GUI type modulation system (like DCAM, Massive and Surge) rather than a matrix though. Mod Matrix's in soft synths are sooooooooo 2000s hahahahaha.
wow, no OSx support still? lol
I think this synth is pretty amazing, very hard sounding.
argh...found the first flaw....when using ProTools 9 the new Version does not play any Arps or Sequences directly from MIDI...if you pre-enter the notes in the edit window everything works fine....but directly from MIDI they won't play at all...this sucks atm big time.....:-(
maybe you got what you paid for ...
zeta+ is admittedly one of the better vsti available, they should address the issues in a patch, yes?
you mean that this could be an anti-piracy feature? well maybe....
I bought it regularily so I can't tell...but as it seems Protools update 9.0.3 fixes this....but it still can't cope with 64 Samples buffer....had to bring it up to 256...
I can't see it in Ableton. Does not show in the plug in folder. Anyone know how to fix it? Works fine in FL studio though.
@azazellvigohr: make sure that if you have a 64bit OS that you need to install the 32Bit version for Ableton is not native 64Bit compatible (afaik only Reaper & FL STudio are at the moment)...
Yade, thank you, sir!
soillodge I to was not impressed with the demo video. To me sorted sound like 90’s dance/techno but to be honest when you get into the inners of it it’s good. £35 to upgrade was a no-brainer really for me as I’d not be able to bid anymore for that lovely ARP AXXE on ebay.
Azazellvigohr works fine on my Ableton, Hope you are having fun with it.
