  5. I mean this as the highest compliment but this album sounds like Shriekback meets awesome electro. Sevren has a definite Schriekback quality to his voice. I love this. Definitely buy for me.

Is he still using Estefania? I guess I am in the minority then, because I always liked her.

  9. yes of course, it´s still Estefania... and I must say that I really like the female vocals... matter of taste I guess...

    Shots for all !

Sounds pretty fantastic. Looking forward to the release.

Snapshots in a Dark Room sounds like it will be the gem on this album. Although they all sounds amazing.

With Estefania singing, is this like And One having female backing vocals, or is this like In Strict Confidence where Nadine, Antje, Nina, etc. sing full songs all by themselves? I like the way And One uses female singers. I wish that Dennis sang every song for ISC.

I know that my question seemed stupid with the samples being provided, but after hearing a sample of "Seventeen" and liking it, I didn't want to hear the rest of the album's samples and ruin the anticipation of hearing the rest of the songs when I got the CD. As boring as my life is, it's the little things like hearing a CD without hearing much of it at all before buying it that bring excitement to my life.

As much as I've heard about XMTP through the years, I've never really given them a chance until now. I was hoping to make an informed decison before buying the album or not, but I'll go ahead and buy it and just hope that she doesn't sing several songs all by herself. :0) If she does, I'm sure that I'll enjoy it like I do with how I enjoy ISC's albums despite Dennis letting all of those girls sing songs all by themselves. :0)

Props for posting the preview! Looking forward to hearing more from this remarkable act. And I like Pool Waiter's description ("Shriekback-meets-awesome-electro")...never really noticed the similarity until now.

And I don't mind a few tracks with Estefania. While I prefer just Sevren's vocals, her voice worked nicely with tracks like "The Past" and "WITIAK."

  17. After listening to the snippets I am very much looking even more forward to "Inner Zone Journey".

It is of course already preordered and I will give it a lot of listening sessions.
