Some of the worst I've heard would be Skinny Puppy (dude, that is an AWFUL name for a band, lol), Foo Fighters, Fine Young Cannibals, Meatloaf, Nine inch Nails (never cared for that one, either) and Mastodon.

I agree, Korn is a TERRIBLE band name. So is Modest Mouse. What the hell does that mean? Then there's The Eagles of Death Metal. That one I just don't get AT ALL. Slipknot is not too terrible. There are worse ones, like 30 Seconds To Mars and Good Charlotte. Oh, and The Flaming Lips.

Mastodon is named after a cool extinct animal, but the animal was named after the resemblance of its teeth to nipples. So it's kind of a draw, I guess.
