offlineMemberI'll be happy if Brazil, Argentina, France, and Italy all fail to win the World Cup. They've pretty much have won the more recent World Cups and the Olympics. I want to see some fresh blood win this cup. Though very unlikely, I'd rather see Ghana, Cameroon, Slovenia, etc. win it than Brazil, Argentina, France, and Italy.

I'm from the U.S. but my Father is from Italy and my Mothers side is Italian and German. I have three top team choices.
Watching Italy beat Germany in 2006 in an amazing game, I never screamed so loud in my life. I hope we see more drama like that this year

offlineMember@ Giga, that's totally understandable with you having Italian and German blood. Didn't Spain win the last Euro Cup? Though, two heavyweights like Brazil vs. Germany would be nice to witness. It's like in the NBA Finals. I didn't want to see another rematch between the Celtics and the Lakers, but they are duking it out like typical heavyweights, which is a joy to watch.

offlineMemberI'll be amazed if Italy repeat 2006 with the bulk of a Juve defence which has had it's confidence shattered this season. Pirlo's injury is a big blow, but Lippi's stubborness about Cassano even more so.
If Spain play anywhere near their potential, i wouldn't look past them.
