looks like Goldfrapp wishes she was Fever Ray a little bit.
having said that, i'm excited for this. it looks pretty good.

RE major label budget, it's really hard to tell, as word 'round the campfire is that major labels often pay a talented film graduate in the vicinity of $5k to make their filmclips that would normally cost them $200k, so the director can put it on their reel.
But this video, as well as the campaign with the tag-line "sheiscoming", really smacks of "boardroom full of marketting execs" to me, rather than something an indie band would come up with.
Option 3 is that it's just a marketting company flexing their ARG-skills to drum up some business...
Hey, remember the mysterious bog lady who licks tree jizz? Turns out it's not Christina Aguilera, Goldfrapp, Fever Ray, or really any of the other guesses that people had. It's some Swedish singer named Jonna Lee.
And to bring this whole thing onto topic, she does a rather interesting cover of "Violent Playground" ...

I like her butt...
Now there's something I never thought I'd hear.
I remember her playing at Arvika last year, maybe I should have checked it out. :|
Oh man, I was watching the video thinking, "This is pretty cool and weird"
Then.....I read the next comment.
LOL
"I like her butt"
Eh.....fuckit......
I like her but what? Jeez man don't leave us hanging...
...but she's way out of my league
I needs me a sexay wo-man with a devil-may-care attitude, strong beliefs hidden behind surplus clothing and doc's....and a pleasant amount of junk in the trunk to boot!
Where are joo?
Also must like alcoholic potheads...
She'd have to crawl on her knees begging for my contributions to her playground and nude photography supported crappy arty farty music. I'm not the easy type.
@Malfunct
It's good to have you back on the forum! I agree with your sentiment about the arty-farty music. Still, you have to admit that it's cool to hear Nitzer Ebb have that kind of influence on other types of alternative music.
