    A couple of years ago i had a project called PROTOTYP. Released a couple of demos, played some gigs and participated on a few compilations before i put it on ice to focus on other projects (T.W.A.T. & EkoBrottsMyndigheten).
    The other day i was playing around with some ideas in the studio and it ended up sounding like this:

    This has a lot of potential. Love everything about the electronics, kinda hate the style of vocals.

    @Brapley:
    Nice to get some input. personally i think the vocals suits the music well, but thats just me. My other option was to put eurodisco-rap and italovocoders on it but im not sure the result would have been as satisfying... :)

    @sumez and theanger:
    Thanks for taking the time to listen and nice to hear that you like it.

    I'm not normally much for that style of vocals, but I think you manage to vary it and make it come out great - I prefer it to TWAT vocals, too.
    I can't think of any better way to do it - in general I have no constructive criticism for this track, it's very well done.

  7. less than a minute in... yup.. this track is fucking nice

    there is a clarity to each sound. every element seems well structured and placed. i really like the vocals too.

    really cool track. i'd love to hear more like this

    i've never listened to your other projects. give us a link, dude.

  8. Sounds like a dubstep/EBM hybrid. It is quite nice. I really like a lot of the elements you put together. The vocals remind me of Andy when he is doing Panzer AG, they really fit the style well. I think the song could benefit from a nice sub sine wave layer during the slow parts because it is very mid-rangy throughout. That would make the [EXPLODE] part appear even heavier. Your mix technique works great for EBM [I love EkoBrottsMyndigheten btw, your track on OSE is ace!] because that is all about the drums and the bassline interacting. When you start to break apart the sequences it opens up more sonic area to fill if you want it to sound very thick and powerful. Also, just a matter of personal taste, I do not like the snare. You could use something a bit more distinctive with some velocity changes and variable on the decay/release. It sounds just slapped on there like an afterthought.

    Thanks a lot man! I also think it turned out nice. I will most likely slowly wake this project up and do more track in the same flavour.
    Already working on the next T.W.A.T.-album and its nice to do different stuff sometimes. Often it just turns out to be clearing the mind of stupid ideas. ;)

    I've posted links to my other projects a couple of times but here you go:

    Thanks for the input Michael! I will keep that stuff it in mind. As you mentioned yourself i mostly make EBM and as this one has a little more modern touch im a bit out of my safe zone. But that's also part of the fun. ;)
    The snare is probably a matter of taste yes. It took me a while to get the sound i wanted from it, but there might be other snares that would sound even better. I found an oilbarrel in the woods the other day. Gonna mic it up and go neubauten on its ass! :D

    I think it's pretty nice, but needs some further production work. I love the vocal
    style, but it's a bit muddy...

    Thanks man! Great that you like the T.W.A.T. cd, we are quite proud of it. :)

    @xeno:
    Your right, there is definately room for improvment. On the vocals as well. There is not a ton of effects on it, but some reverb or something might need som adjustment. Or the EQ perhaps.

    There is a thought! A nice metal sounding snare accent would be cool.
