    I hope this is made of awesome. It actually looks fairly low on CGI which can only be good.

    Cletus Van Damm is in it. That is total win!

    Apparently it does not take place on earth and it is meant as a direct sequel to teh original, xing out predator 2 and the AVP bullshit.

    I am very excited about it. I'm sure most the industrial community is excited about the possible samples it will birth.

    Robert Rodriguez has been one of my big life heroes since reading "Rebel Without a Crew", his autobiography about filming "El Mariachi", which I first read in 6th grade and have re-read many times in the years since.

    That guy cares about his art. The guy went through months of being a test subject/guinea pig to fund "El Mariachi". Thats beyond determination at that point, thats almost insane.

    I have been hyped about "Predators" since it started filming. It looks great and I have faith it will be entertaining. "Aliens", "Predator" and "Terminator" are my lifelong fanboy addictions... but with so many bad movies from all those franchises in the past few years, I still have to remain skeptical, because I've been duped before and it just stabs me in my fanboy heart.

    Still, looking forward to July 9th. Thats the day we're playing Das Bunker in LA. I am having to make it a point that we catch the matinee show before we have to load in.
