    When will you begin taking preorders? :)

    You know that I'm a stickler for details & I just wanna sure that all is fine & dandy (Brian, OSE's sound engineer is VERY meticulous when it comes to wav files, but he's doing a TERRIFIC job) before I begin taking pre-orders. Thanks for understanding:)

    Cheers

  10. is it august yet?

    i actually welcome the little wait. just got a heap of court costs and fines, have to pay for classes to tell me the evils of marijuana, pay a probation officer to supervise me, etc, etc.

    really... for a little bit of weed. i love louisiana, but i'm out of this backwards state when i finish school in a year.

    @Tsarik,

    Kind of ironic, isn't it? You live in a state that allows (encourages?) people to buy Big Gulp-sized daiquiris from drive-thru stands. And they assume people aren't going to drink their FROZEN beverage in the car because they don't provide you with a straw. Yeah, everyone's just going to wait until they get home to drink it, even if it's melted.

    Haha, anyway, was over there visiting a friend in New Iberia (near Lafayette) 6-7 years ago. We wanted to see how boozy we could get those daiquiris. My friend's wife was driving, so we were being safe. But my friend and I both ordered the largest size Zombie with an added shot of liquor. Went to their house and drank it, then sent the wife out to get us two more. Yeah, that pretty much killed the night, those Zombies just kicked us to the curb.

    Sorry to hear that mate, but I'm sure you'll bounce back in no time.

  14. i don't know which daiquiris drive through you went to but every time i get one, it comes with a straw and i drink that fucker while driving :P though i get to my destination and don't drive again for a while.

    and 2 of those delicious fucking drinks is enough to get a 220 lbs guy buzzed enough to get in trouble. seriously, those girly drinks will fuck you up!

    and the probation is no big deal... i've been off and on since i was 15 so thats... 14 years now. i'll be off in 3 months (good lawyer) and smokin' again.

    @Tsarik,

    Yes, it did come with straws but that was back in 2003 or something, but I heard that it's changed since then. Guess not :) But yeah, those drinks seriously fucked our night up. Seems like a pretty cool place, around Lafayette anyway. What city are you in?

    @Tsarik,

    Yes, Lafayette seemed cool, but I was amazed at all the strip malls. Really isn't much different from other places. There's Starbucks, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, etc. I guess I was expecting something different. I was thinking, "here's some unique corner of the U.S. where people are speaking some kind of half-assed French", but in the end it's about the same (except for the drive-thru daiquiri stands)

    New Iberia seemed a little different and unique. But wasn't really there long enough to get a proper impression. But I do miss those Po Boys.

  20. Nader, how does it feel knowing that OSE Vol. 1 is going to be a landmark and historical release in this scene?

    It makes me hesitant to even open my copy.. making me wish i could extract the music within through some arcane means, forever preserving it in the aether of aural memory.
