In my opinion based on club-play and number of songs that are popular on each album, I believe these are my top 5 picks. hmmm I notice a pattern

    1.VNV Nation - Empires(1999)
    2. Apoptygma Berzerk - Welcome to Earth(2000)
    3. Suicide Commando - Mindstrip(2000)
    4. Covenant - United States of Mind(2000)
    5. Combichrist - Everybody Hates You(2005)

    I think most would agree?

And the fact you mentioned Combicrap as the most recent 'good' release is even further proof of that.

But none of them are (real)MET bands though, they only licensed them. VNV/SC/Covenant = Dependent; Combichrist= OOL(?)

  9. Yep. The pattern is that there is no pattern..lol

Also if you are going to a club that plays a lot of stuff from those 5 albums-you are at the wrong club ;)

If you do not include these 2 albums you're wrong:

Die Sektor : To Be Fed Upon
    Painbastard: Borderline

But yeah they surely don't get enough club play.

@soillodge: Nah, I know you're making satanic rituals with Bryan. Don't hide it. Happily married by day, satanic psycho by night.

"Die Sektor : To Be Fed Upon
    Painbastard: Borderline"

  17. @Dave-yeah, you know the answer to that, I live in NY, the clubs here are pretty turrible.

But they never played all that trash at SADISCO. And Therapy always had a great mix of different styles. Bunker plays this shit too? I do not believe that for a second.

Bunker has it's retro room that plays all that stuff which bumped the power-noise room to the smallest, crappiest sounding room in the venue.

I heard Dead Stars and most of stuff from those cds at Perversion(LA's second biggest Industrial club) last Thursday.
