There are some good moments in the EP preview. I like how you bring noise elements to your sound.

If I may just offer some positive criticism, I find the whole track you posted is a bit repetitive after a while, like I wished something else would happen at some point.

Anyway I think this is an interesting debut that needs to be refined, but you have the potential beginning of an original sound, not unlike Xentrifuge brought in it first album.

  4. it does sound a bit like xentrifuge. my two criticisms are:

    - refine the vocals. WAY too many effects, they are completely indecipherable and sound like muddy whooshing rather than vocals.
    - refine the production, the track is very muddy and I can't really tell whats happening in the song, especially with the drums.

    Once again.... thanks for listening.

However the production is already done and everything is being pressed as we speak. I guess it's just a matter of taste. We've received some really good feedback from people who wouldn't change a thing and really negative feedback. That's how it goes. :)

  6. I think it's pretty cool and doomy -- really dense. I suppose I'm kind of treating it as listening to black/doom metal more than industrial or what have you. That is, I don't really expect more than a wall of sound with little things peeking through when the mix permits. I think it may be lacking a bit in dynamics but that's the nature of the beast in that arena and, unfortunately, is more vulnerable to listener fatigue. I'm stoked to hear the whole thing though.

That's a great approach and analogy. The project is inspired by the aspects of grindcore/doom metal, industrial & breakbeat. It's definitely not club friendly and was never an objective. The tracks get way too intense at parts and do hold to some repetitive degree.... but as you said, that's the nature of the beast.
