Teatro Grotesco’s second release – the EP “Live at Arco 8” is now available, only as a digital download at Teatro Grotesco’s bandcamp

This album was recorded live at Arco 8 on 2009-12-12. Teatro Grotesco on this performance were LC and Gianna de Toni and, besides electronics, the instruments used were heavy metallic percussion, electric guitar and contrabass. If “at the House of Dolls” had a kind of dark cinematic ambient sound, this contains moments quite more brutal, closer to Industrial music. Video projections were used on this performance, creating a claustrophobic ambience. We are used to see images of violence everyday on the media, cinema, etc. but when those images are presented in a certain way, with a certain sound, some find it unbearable. At least half of the audience left at this live performance, proving its effectiveness.
An excerpt of the performance is available at youtube

Also available at Teatro Grotesco’s bandcamp is “at the House of Dolls”, for free, and the only album of the first Teatro Grotesco’s incarnation – Post Crash High’s “The apocalypse came yesterday and no one noticed”.
More new releases from Teatro Grotesco will soon appear.
