  1. Hey boys and girls,

I'd like to know your verdict on the new suicide commando album. Good or bad, favorite songs, hate songs, artwork, sound ... whatever, as long as it's constructive criticism, it's all welcome.
So I'll be waiting for the bashers !
Shoot ... me in the back !

Johan, old school track Severed Head is the best. Sort of 'updated, 21st century' Chromdioxyde sound. Overall, album rocks, so congratulations! Best songs: Severed Head, Perils of Indifference, God Is In The Rain (which sounds very Leather Strip for some reason, you should let Claus do a cover!)

what is the meaning of the logo? IIXIII I find the imperfection of its symmetry disturbing...which makes it better logo.

BETS SC ALBUM SINCE MINDSTRIP >>> PERIOD

I like every song. what strikes me in this album is the return of simple but efficient melody lines. I like the fact that it perfects the sound treatment that was so good in BTK. It's crunchy and heavy, but better than BTK.

Although I love harsh EBM there are very few albums I can listen to in one shot (gets boring after a while), but this is definitely one that I would make a point to listen from beginning to end.

Very nice job, it proves that when people actually make the effort, harsh EBM can still be very relevant.

Also it would be fair to give the ''constructive'' points, so here goes:

Now that we have the sound figured out, let's work on better videos...

The who serial killer aspect is really silly. Why can't you write by bunnies or war? Your music is done well, but where is the real message? At least axis of evil had some relevance. Your music means as much as the table next to mean - meaningless. It is time to grow up and write some intelligent music you are not 12 anymore.

yeah it wasnt the greatest video ever made, but for a low cost budget, it really is good enough. i wish there were more SC videos. my only critical thought on the DFD video is that it needed more blood, to make it look more violent, even if that would be too cliche.

  16. Very good stuff. Added it to my collection of the rest of your material.

  17. "Why can't you write by bunnies or war"

i guess you could try toxic coma for that. they write about war bunnies.

  18. Thanks for the comments so far. Glad most of you like it.
Just a few little remarks myself if you don't mind ...

About the lyrical content, already explained it in a few interviews (also in the Side-line interview which should be online real soon I hope), apart from the title "implements of hell" there are only one or two songs dealing with the serial killer issue, so I'm quite surprised by Disclaimer777cc's reaction. If you think lyrics in "god is in the rain", "death cures all pain", "untill we die" ... are meaningless, I really don't know which lyrics I should write ...

About the video, we had to face a few problems, first there was the time problem as we had to do the entire shooting and editing in only 3 days time, and second it initially was planned to be released on DVD and therefor needed an FSK rating and as we wanted to avoid an FSK rating of 18 years and older, we had to keep it "clean", after all we already got sued last year after one of our live shows as we showed to shocking live videos and I didn't want to take that risk.

    @SC

This probaly is my second favorite album of yours now. The first album being Mindstripper. I don't know what disclaimer means by the lyrics. This album I actually see a growth in your lyical writing skills. I do however agree with djtekslave though this a version of BTK that is brought to the next level. My favorite non single track so far is death cures all pain and I love the new version of Until we Die. I even enjoy the remix cd.

  20. Ignore disclaimer, he is clearly trolling. Cannot even spell well enough to express himself today. Must be huffing glue again. :P
