SOUNDCLOUD SAMPLE SETS

  1. Thanks to Modulate for this suggestion:

"We’re working hard on making SoundCloud the best place for samples on the web. Since our Sample Time! blog post last month a lot of new exciting libraries have been uploaded. These are all available for download and free to use under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license."

We should really consider uploading some of our own sample sounds for this. I know Tsarik is doing some crazy analog experiments. I have been experimenting with my Noise Swash and various sound sources. I am sure there are a few people around here that would love to share their odd ideas. So get on it!

Some really cool stuff on Soundcloud though, good find Michael. Though there is a lot of super generic stuff to sort through. Kinda hard to find something interesting.

One thing I've been after for a while and never really found is a really good junk percussion set.

Maybe it's worth us starting a group on Soundcloud for things like that?

if anyone is around or near northern Switzerland this weekend...we are noising again...another location, another gravelpit...lots of old metal, woods and stuff to bang on etc...

if interested I can also offer some places to sleep...

usually there are around 5-10 "artists" and around 20-100 visitors

if interested drop me a mail
