  7. You know I've never heard Snowy Red and there aren't really any tracks I can find online to listen to, so I ask, what type of music were they??

    Snowy Red range in sound. Their early work was minimal synth. Their first 2 LPs are major collector items. Their midway stuff was good, but moving to more rock influences.

    Their S/T LP and "The Right To Die" LP in my opinion are the gems. "Euroshima (Wardance)" 12" was played a lot as a new beat track. Never really thought it to be a newbeat track, but it is their most famous track as it is on every comp it seems.

    @Seraphin

    There are quite a few Snowy Red tracks on youtube, can't post a link from work, but they are not too hard to find. My two favourite tracks are 'Wardance' and 'Madman'.

    "I'm Hurt" 7" is great as well. "

    Soon seraphin, you can order the anthology 5CD box. It will sell out quick i'm sure.

    Too bad Mickey Mike died before seeing his work properly reissued.

    "Drowning In Fire" LP is a true classic IMO. Listen to it all the time.

  14. Company of State isn't 100% confirmed yet. I'm urging Pieter/Onderstroom to release it ...still have some convincing to do :)

    @ Nader

    I sent a message to Onderstroom through the website. Please post back here once you hear back from Pieter. I would really prefer a cd boxset, but if it will not be released, I will buy the vinyl boxset.

    Thanks!

    Sounds great Nader! I just wish I didn't have to wait until September/October to get the 5cd boxset :) Now my decision becomes: do I buy the 5LP boxset as well, or just hold out for the 5cd boxset? :)
