  1. Instead of creating a new thread every time we have some interesting news to share, I though it might be a good idea to keep it all in once thread.

Thanks to all those that support Sigsaly and our family of artists! :)

  7. Another treat released over the summer:

    Electro-Industrial
    ... Done the French way!

K-BEREIT from France, are no newcomers to the music world. Especially not in the world of Industrial & Electronic Body Music (EBM).

Starting in the late Eighties with the band, Kreigsbereit and then into the Nineties, Dominique Lallement was on the move. As founding member of the now legendary, Cobalt 60 & alongside Jean-Luc De Meyer of Front 242, they went on to release numerous records and even soundtracks for the popular video games, Command & Conquer: Red Alert and Wing Commander: Prophecy.

After a brief hiatus, Dominique joined forces with his life-long friend Fred Sebastian to form the hybrid, K-BEREIT.
A unique and powerful blend of the Kreigbereit and Cobalt 60 sounds.
This new full-length, 17 track album contains guest appearances by members of Dolls of Pain, Punish Yourself, SA42 and Autodafeh. Also includes 4 guest tracks by Psychosomatik & Under All.

  11. Marvellous! Will be buying the new ADF very soon.

I wonder about one thing: what did you do with Re:electro EP that it got so popular? The charts at last.fm suddenly exploded with the new songs from the EP, 5-6 times more plays than the original album, which even is uploaded on last.fm. I mean, in one week re:electro got played almost as much as Hunt For Glory in last six months.

  12. @ Fishermang

That is great news! To tell you the truth, I think it is two things. We are using a new promotions company (PromoFabrik) and most of all... it's the band. They have been getting gigs, interviews, etc..
The first album (which is great!) was the debut album for a band nobody ever heard of. Now they are making a name for themselves and doing it fast. We are excited and happy for them!

re:lectro is a great (7 track!)EP and the next album is going to amaze people. Should be out in October.

    Shots for all !

damn this shits pretty damn good...

reminds me a lot of the good old days mixed with some Plastic Assault(wtf happened to P.A.?)

  14. Awesome. I shall forever be proud I loved them way before they even released their first album! :D

re:electro and their newest songs on their myspace SLAY. I can't get over how nicely they do the front 242 in these modern times. They keep the original F242 energy, that most other front242 influenced bands lack. As I said in another thread: ADF is here to stay!

Yup! One of the best new bands right now!!

  16. "I can’t resent the Swedish guys that they fell back on well-tried material."

Disagree! ADF is the only band that actually does front242, and is a pioneer in that sense, compared to all other new EBM bands. ADF is entirely unique.

  17. Agreed! :)

Picked up Portion Control's "Crop" last week. I'd been meaning to check the band out for ages.

Very cool stuff. I dig how the album starts off in a more traditional Nitzer Ebb-ish vein, but then gets progressively stranger and more unsettled.

Ha, yeah... although Disc 2 begins to pick up a bit more. Amnesia09 (Beta01) is a taste of the next album, the new direction.
