    Who's entering?

    "The comp is open to the whole spectrum of industrial music, from EBM to idm, an approach that is quite seldom these days we might say".
    ALL THE WAY FROM EBM TO IDM?!
    Isn't that the same corner of industrial music? I hate harping on about genre labels and whatever, but really?!

    From the requirements it looks like you need to be on a label to get into this. Nice kick in the teeth for unsigned artists...

    As far as i understand unsigned artists can join in as well. If you have a label you are asked to include the label facebook as well, but it nowhere says "unsigned bands can;t join in". Although it would be no laughing matter for the person having to listen to all the unsigned contributions, because there is a lot of shit around in that segment.
    Anyway, still thinking whether or not to join in.

    I demand songs about Haywire, Die Sektor, Shaun Hamilton, United Industrial Front, Owen, Fluid's member, and DEATHKEY.

    @Black Oil, YES!
    Can we have an embargo on any songs that arn't about sideline topics? It'll promote the forum to people as well! Somehow.

    I'm thinking of entering, as I like being told that I was a runner up but never quite made it.

    And I'm sure they're different, but not the WHOLE SCOPE OF INDUSTRIAL. I would say most industrial club compilations tend to have a mixture of idm and ebm, and it definitely seems as though they're searching for a specific type, but making it sound bigger. Unless it was sarcasm, I hope it was sarcasm.

    If there aren't adverts between every song and/or the tracks themselves don't restart half-way through then I'm not buying it.

  11. @ Hollowman: where did you read you need to be on a label?

    Posted 1 year ago #
  12. @ PV: 'buying' ? It's for free dude.... and adverts in songs??? We don't make any money from this actually. It's just something fun to do and can help unsigned and young bands.

    I entered a track from this solo project and from my band, Homemade Abortion Kit. I'd also like to say this:

    Lesbians. Thousand of them.
