Side-line.com "newsletter" spam

  1. Am I the only one who gets every single mail from Side-Line at least three times?!
Usually sent throughout the day, with a few hours inbetween...

I normally get a summary of the news items, but only once daily. Occasionally, you get extra mails, such as the one announcing the new e-bay section.

  3. That's the one I was talking about.
I'm not subscribing to the news.

  4. that's because you have various e-mails in our system that forward to your current e-mail because EVERY single e-mail is only contacted once and doubles are filtered out before the newsletter or info bulletin is sent out.

Time to kill the other mails and use only one :))

  5. I don't have any mails forwarding to my main e-mail. Everything else sent to the same domain will do it, but I've never given another address.
I'm suspecting your newsletter of sending mails to both users of the new forum and the old one, many of which are the same, could this be the case?
One of the mails I get says "Hi Sumez", the next says "Hi SUMEZ~1.EXE" (which was my username at the old forum!), and the third says "Dear Side-Line forum member" and is formatted slightly differently, just as the subject line is different.

I also find it confusing that there are several hours between each e-mail, like they are not sent out at the same time.

  7. All have been merged with several intros per db. If you had the same address on all dbs you only get the last e-mail from the current forum.
