  1. The musical fight has begun. Raising awareness on forced institutionalization, stigma and abuse toward the mentally ill, the overmedication of artistic misfits, and a status quo definition of reality- the 2 CD digipack compilation entitled “Sanity is Slavery” will be released on machineKUNT Records in June 2010 and include a free digital bonus disc. 10% of proceeds will go to MindFreedom International, an organization dedicated to mental health rights and stopping psychiatric abuse.

I see you dropped A+P from the track list. Would have been nice to know in an email, since you sounded quite enthusiastic about the track..

I can see a lot of artists gone, the track list you are listing here does nowhere look like the one you sent the 16th of September 2009.

    Odd.

  4. I was about to correct the spelling of Empusae, but then realised there's actually a band called Empusa. Now that's confusing.

Like the fact that Amgod is on here. But not too excited about the track listing otherwise. I do like compilations in general, though, as it's a good way to find new artists.

  9. I was upset about the A+P track because that was one of my favorite submissions. I emailed you with the contract and never heard back from you though. I can find you the date it was sent. Your track is ace. Just paperwork issues.

Now that it's 3 albums the tracklist has changed quite a bit. A few artists never got back to me with the paperwork and lots of new artists decided to get on board.

I hope you guys dig this release. I can't think of a cause that's more important to me. There are a lot of new artists on here that I'm excited to introduce people to and some great musicians who have been around for a bit longer who have been very inspirational to me.

This line up sounds phantastic... I'm specially interested in the Leaether Strip, amGod & Necrotek tracks and the machineKUNT lady power. I listened to the amGod track on their website... Sounds great!
    I should buy it.

the 13th of December the contract was mailed to me, if i remember correctly, it was sent back to you, in paper form, the same week.

You could just have written an email, i could have sent a new/2nd. copy. Never mind though, the track will probably find use somehow..

The artists on this release don't interest me tbo.
I'd like to hear the A+P track though if possible.

  14. The contract was supposed to be scanned and emailed or faxed. I'm sorry for the mix up and hope you don't take this personally. I didn't hear back from you via email. Either way it's a great track. Please email me so we can discuss this off the forums.

Glad some of you are looking forward to this. It's not for everybody but what is? More information will be posted soon. All artists are invited to send in their feelings about the cause.

Porn is pretty expensive to burn as well. You might want to cut down on that.

  19. It's like the little mason who couldn't get past 180 degrees.

I'm not sure what my youtube video's have to do with "Sanity is Slavery" but yeah. I hope it will get over its 3 year long hate crush soon. Maybe it can find comradeship among the Tea Party. ::giggle::

    Bump!
